All respect to Wilson, I just wish Russell could say once, "Man I am ticked off, I hate losing, we should have won that game" then after that he can say all the great stuff about working harder and studying the film and playing a championship game next week.

Go get em Russell! and go Hawks!

We all know he hates to lose. We dont need him to say it, to know that. Its all mental, its all about positivity. Hes different . I love it. He also did say they should have won that game. Being ticked about it, wont change the outcome.

Correct. What is done is done and it's time to play the Rams. Look at it this way the game isn't irrelevant which is the best thing that could have happened to this team.

I mean...we all love Russell to be an emotionless robot, except that we want him to crack after a loss? I think not.

Given his reaction after the awful playoff loss last year, I think it's a huge stretch to think he would ever react otherwise after a game.

Yea I heard his press conference and it was kind of ridiculous. I was hoping to hear a Tom Brady type statement like "we played like crap and we can't win when the offense plays like that. It starts with me." Instead he basically talked about being "just an inch off." Sorry but I'm not buying that. For most of that game, the offense barely resembled an NFL team. It was pathetic. I want him to get mad about how bad they played and own it.

Is this what we have to hear again next Sunday should we lose to the Rams?

His face on the sidelines at the end of any of his losses tells me all I need to know.

The ability to get mad, but to contain yourself and react calmly on the surface is awesome. All people should strive for it. It's hardly a negative about Russell.

Brady has the cache to get up there and chew his guys a bit to motivate them. I'm not sure Russell is there yet... but I agree with you that he needs to get up there and take ownership.

Personally, I'm glad we'll never have a Russell Wilson meltdown video that get's played whenever people want to laugh at the Seahawks.

We know Russell is disappointed. No need to tell the media and have his frustration captured forever. We laugh at ever other QB/coach/WR, etc. who does that.

Who says that he doesn't behind the scenes?

Why would it be a good thing for him to throw a tantrum and make a scene publicly?

I think this is a strength. He could easily say all the things that are obvious regarding lack of blocking etc but he didn't. Our defense totally kicked ass IMHO.

We get it. You're mad about the loss and you want the team to implode, start pointing blame, lose to the Rams, and end up a wild card team in the playoffs...but seriously, make some camomile tea and turn off the internet...

Yep. Dude is a fake robot. I know he has an Ebonics program in him and someday I hope to hear him lambaste his O line, the playcalling and especially his crap performances.

Uhhhh quite the opposite. He looks physically ill. Blank expression but you can see the disappointment in his eyes.

Ah, I was waiting for this. Blasting our quarterbacks behavior in press conferences because he's not visibly upset, that must mean he doesn't care right?

And he was right, the offense was a couple inches off, they didn't really win any 50/50 ball the entire game. That never happens. A play here, a play there, different game. Still lots to clean up though.

I don't know...maybe or maybe not you mad bro? If so why? And at who? Me? A person you don't know? The team filled with with players you don't know? A game you didn't participate in? Tell me which is it? Or is it something else you or I don't control?

I guess that's why they will play the game right? My point is the game has relevance and we better come to win and correct the issues on offense or we are the wildcard team again. Pretty simple and direct correct?

RW is showing true leadership. He rallies the team when things are good or bad.

He show poise on and off the field. He's not perfect. No one is. Mistakes happen and you move on. He could have easily threw his teammates under the bus. What would that accomplish?

You watch the film tomorrow. Players own up to it. They take care of business in the VMAC, not the press.

That's a sign of maturity, poise under pressure. This team will rally from this. Players can do and say great things when things are going well, its how you handles things under pressure and after a tough loss. They are handling it the right way.

All will be good next week when the Hawks collect their 13th win and home field throughout the playoffs.
