I LOL’d for realthat was dak tuah
meh. Have to set up the script for the rematch somehowUm, Dak didn't spit anywhere close to Carter. But they tried to make it so![]()
Yes. And in the words of the great Jimmy Johnson, "Hit me in the head with a hammer the next time I take a dumb guy". You can't fix dumb and dumb spits on the opposing QB on national television in front of the referee and 35 million viewers before the ball is even snapped.Very happy we took Spoon over this head case. Sure he’s a great DL talent. But what a nut job. Give me Spoon any day and that’s not homerism, it’s truly how I feel.
Dk's antics divided this place.
I think if Carter was on the team and he did that, We'd have a united front !
Nothing will happen to Dak, nor should it. People spit on the field every single play. When Dak did it he had his own line between him, spit at the ground, was about 6-7 yards away (roughly 20 feet). There was no projectile towards Carter and there was no 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll.I didn't even realize that Dak had spit towards the Cowboys players until this morning when I read about it in an article. My routine for prime-time games is to start watching about an hour after kickoff then fast forward until I catch up to real time in the 3rd quarter or so, paying little attention to the commentary. With the 1+ hour delay, I didn't finish watching it until this morning.
It will be interesting to see if the league takes any further action against Carter. The fact that he was suspended for virtually the entire game vs. getting the boot in the 4th quarter or something may play to his advantage. But the league has made unsportsmanlike behavior, i.e. taunting, etc., a point of emphasis this season, so it wouldn't surprise me if Carter got hit with a multi game suspension and large fine.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Dak draws at least a fine for his role in the incident. After all, it takes two to Tango.
I agree that Dak's spitting is irrelevant. But he was arguing with Carter and must have said something to provoke him. It certainly doesn't rise to the level of what Carter did and I didn't see anything that Dak did that would warrant a suspension, but don't be surprised if he receives at least a modest fine like $10k, chump change for an NFL player.Nothing will happen to Dak, nor should it. I don't know if you would consider it "dirty" or not, but there was a game vs. the Packers where Metcalf grabbed onto another player's face mask after being ejected from a game. Maybe not "dirty", but grabbing a face mask is football's equivalent of hitting below the belt.IMO, DK did plenty of stupid stuff.
I don’t recall ever seeing him do something outright “dirty”.
Maybe I missed it, IDK
..yes, we know all of those types are up in Seattle, readying to mug spectators at dangerous Lumen Fieldand there was no 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll.
From Prescott's press conference, it sound like Dak spit on the ground, in the direction of Carter, and Carter asked if Dak was spitting at him. Prescott said something along the lines of why would I be spitting at you? Further argument persisted until Carter spit on Prescott, who was elated at the 15 yards, but sounded disappointed at the ejection.I agree that Dak's spitting is irrelevant. Well, the league is supposedly cracking down on unsportsmanlike conduct, taunting, etc., and even though we don't know what was said, we can surmise that it wasn't a friendly chat. I'm betting that Dak gets a token fine. From Prescott's press conference, it sound like Dak spit on the ground, in the direction of Carter, and Carter asked if Dak was spitting at him. Dak spit AT him then gave a knowing grin. Only Carter getting in trouble here is some BS. This is why we need AI referees that can see everything so things can be a lot more fair, rather than the usual "only he who retaliates gets in trouble" garbage.Um, Dak didn't spit anywhere close to Carter.
