So Milroe is not our qb planned for the future. Interesting. But I dont think so.

Would not surprise me at all if they draft another QB in '26. However, it seems doubtful since we have low draft capital, we'll be drafting late in the rounds, and the need is small compared to other needs.
A 1,2,3 and a 6
Unless we trade down for late picks, which I don't want..

If they draft another QB, that would basically be JS admitting that he wasted a pick on Jalen Milroe.

I mean...I think he did, imo, but it would kind of be a bad look for him.

Look, if Darnold continues to play well as a Hawk at QB, I don't think this team will be bad enough to get a blue-chip QB anytime soon.

They'll be stuck rolling the dice every year basically wasting picks and I don't think Schneider would want to just throw picks away.

So in essence, another project (lottery ticket).

I mean okay.

If Schneider doesn't see any other worthwhile value in the 6-7 round, then yeah...I can see him rolling the dice there with really nothing to lose.

The scary thing about the red zone pick to the big guy is that he predetermined that's where he was going and just flung it. If dude wasn't there, the DB covering Jaxon could've picked it, too. He's been playing too long for that shit.
The Rams are fantastic at disguising cover, that's why they were 11-3 coming into this matchup "shit" as you say. Seahawks not only matched up, but ended up being the better team on this day, and Darnold was instrumental in locking in a win against what many perceived as the best team in the NFL....Credit where credit is due.

I give him all the credit in the galaxy for that interception.

Darnold kept fighting, kept playing hard and showed no quit, like he has done all season
Yeah this is true. He has a strong quality of perseverance. His attitude and effort and perseverance help to not give up on him. And then he came through and the road to the Super Bowl is finally gonna be routed through Seattle again! Like Sam or not, trust him or not, he has gotten the job done and that’s my quarterback… maannnnn.

Back from a great Hawks dinner party. It wasn't pretty for Sam, but by golly he had ghosts closing in on him like a wild fire and somehow he pulled it off. That's what it takes sometimes to turn a corner like that. This could prove to be a significant step for him tonight.
You said “by golly”

Damn. 😂

This is what I liked about Darnold tonight. He never hung his head, he never acted like the game was over. He stayed the course and kept on fighting.
He knows (hope so anyway) he’s got a defense and team supporting him.

Sure, its a possibility that we pick up another QB. But unless we find a better option at a lower price, Sam stays. I just don't see any "lateral" moves here. Does JS have something up his sleeve like with RW? I wouldn't bet my underwear on it. If there is a change, its Lock. Thats where a "lateral" move could happen. Talent vs dollars when it comes to Lock. I'm sure there MIGHT be some washed up QB wanting to stay in the league for the lesser $'s. Milroe stays. He's the project they'll stay invested in as long as he is under rookie contract. I'm sure they're bringing him along as best as possible without throwing him to the wolves to soon. Thats why Lock is here and thats why they could make a "lateral" move to a cheaper version of Lock if they feel Milroe is not ready next year to step in if needed...which he probably won't be. But I'm only guessing here. Does anyone here think we're gonna go "full Vikings" and dump Sam? Tell me for who then? Burrow? ....lol...no....we ain't payin what they'll ask for...especially in draft picks.

No, unless Sam completely STB the rest of the way...he stays. I can't excuse his tendency to do WTF things at times, but if Kubiak would pull his head out of his arse and play to Sams strengths just a little more, just a little, I'm sure we'll see less blunders.
