We should give the same amount of benefit of the doubt as we did w Geno w his DUI incident.

He was merely complimenting them of their small genitals thinking they were noble ancient Greeks. He commended them for their civility and self control. It was probably a misunderstanding.

Nah, we made the better choice, and it will prove to be that way.
Also, it IS ok that both teams like their guy.

I agree with ya, my thing about Carter has always been his inability to play more snaps. He dominated when he played, but for whatever reasons, him or his coaches never played him enough snaps.

Exactly. I've known people with more than I could ever have yet feel a need to steal. Small insignificant things . It's a mental disorder.
It's not the need to steal.. it's the rush they get.

Not to mention Quinyon Mitchell is killing it. One target, zero catches on him last night. Devin Witherspoon and Byron Murphy haven't done anything for me to think they won't be foundational pieces for the future defense, but damn, Carter-Mitchell looks like a home run combo. Or Carter-Verse for those who think anyone outside the trenches is pointless.

This sounds more like the woman's fault. Logically, it doesn't make sense for Carter to steal anything from Target. He could easily afford anything from there. Did he even know she put them in the bag without paying?
For some cases it's not if the person can afford the item or not it's the act of stealing that gives them the thrill it's called kleptomania. I'm not saying Carter stole, but rich people steal too is all I'm saying..

Look at all the Witherspoon copers in this thread. Guys. The more time progresses the more you will realize we missed ANOTHER star on the defensive line. Three years from now there will finally be consensus on this matter, we drafted the wrong guy again. Period.

I was pissed about it at the time and I'm still pissed about it. Same with Creed Humphrey. Can you imagine if we had both of those guys on our team now? SMH. I guess the only thing I will say about Carter is there is no guarantee he would have worked out in Seattle without his "Georgia Dawgs" around to keep him out of trouble. I still have faith in Spoon, but he's not exactly setting the world on fire this year.

Yeah, sad to think we could have Murphy and Carter on the same line. I think Witherspoon is a good player, but interior defensive linemen are harder to come by.

They have been glazing all night about Carter on the broadcast. "He's already one of the best in the game in his second year. He's what they call a game wrecker."

(sigh)
I don’t know what game you were watching. The rest of us saw an elite tackle who was CONSISTENTLY breaking into the opponents backfield, disrupting plays, making tackles/assists, and chasing the QB out of the pocket despite getting double-team blocked all night. I have the same problem with fans on the Bears forum who are still stubbornly in denial that Poles should have drafted Carter instead of Wright.
