Now that we are in the holiday season the movie that comes to mind most is It's a Wonderful Life. That got me thinking that imagine if the Hawks didn't draft Russ, what would have happened to the team the last eight years? IMO they would have been competitive because Pete gets that out of his team's but especially the last 4 years they would have maybe been a 500 team. Russ has just done so much with for the most part bad OL's and mediocre WR talent. LOB would have probably gotten even more press because the wins would have almost solely been due to the great D. Russ has been truly a blessing for this team.

Thoughts?

The question is would Flynn be able to be the QB more then 1 season ? If not then who would we have drafted the next year.

EJ Manuel, Geno Smith, Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib, Landry Jones were the QB's taken in first 5 rounds the next year or would we have sucked it up and made another trade.

I trust that Schneider would have gotten us Nick Foles and down the road Lamar Jackson. We would have been competitive but more up and down. Lots of wild cards. No Superbowls.

The LA Seahawks would be an up and down team in a soccer stadium.... Or being discussed as moving to London / ST Louis after Paul Allen's death.

Good question. I think acquiring Avril and Bennett in 2013 would have been a lot more difficult if we hadn't made such a splash in 2012.
