I'd put Bobby Engram in that category as well.
Yeah, I suppose. You're right about the guile, for sure. I thought of Engram, but he didn't have the hands or body control that Largent and ADB had. I just went back and re-watched some Largent highlights just in case my memory was off, but I don't think it was. When you see Largent lay out for a fingertip catch or get those toe-tap catches, it looks so much like ADB. With all due respect to Bobby E, who was a master at working the zone from the slot, I just never watched him play and thought to myself "that looks like Largent."

Agree...he didn't make the acrobat catches that Yoda and ADB were known for. When I think FB intelligence and hands, Bobby ranks near the top as well.

I think its appropriate at this time to honor Seattle's original Bobo.

I'm sure many here remember the touching story of Bobo the gorilla (1951-1968) and his bittersweet journey from Anacortes to the Woodland Park zoo.
I think its important to remember that even though Jake is unanimously #1 with Seahawk fans, he could never rise above the original Bobo in the hearts of Seattleites.

Maybe we should rein things in a little before we crown Jake King of the Bobo's.

Here and there
RUMOR:The only report of Bobo being too fast was his girlfriend with a sad look on her face...he would come and go in a blink of eye...(I'll show myself to the door after this one).

Oh yes, I know. Heady words. Yet, the parallels are building.

On the slower side. Check.

Unassuming physical specimens. Check.

Hands made of velcro. Check.

Highlight catches are the norm. Check.

My Spidey senses are tingling here. I think our new Largent has arrived.

• Another Bobo highlight: The lone touchdown drive in the 15-minute scrimmage session was capped by another highlight-reel catch from second-year receiver Jake Bobo. The former undrafted free agent made a twisting, acrobatic 8-yard TD snag in the front corner of the end zone, using great body control to corral the pass inside the right boundary. It came after the 6-foot-4 Bobo made a spectacular diving TD catch in Tuesday’s practice.

“I don’t see him drop a lot of footballs,” Macdonald said. “It seems like he comes down with a bunch of them. I think he complements our receiving room well, and then we’re really excited in the (special) teams phase. I think he provides more than a normal receiver would provide in that phase too. It’ll be fun to see how he fits into the receiver room and how that thing all shakes out, because we’ve got a lot of talent.”

Dude, seriously?

There will never be another

Save for you are the Godfather and are untouchable, I’d nominate you for a permanent ban for the suggestion.

Love and respect but….
