Is the answer Jesus? We haven't had a solid OL since the Super Bowl. I don't understand why it hasn't been addressed (I said about 7 years ago....)

How do we, as in .NETers, or how does our new coaches fix the OL?
From what I understand our new coaches like who we have. (Benton has 30 years of NFL coaching experience).

It's not what people want to hear but it's the right approach. It doesn't always work out to try and upgrade, but some of the best moves are the ones you don't make.

We know the O line is what's holding us back. JS knows. MM knows. Everyone knows. But the right approach is to stay disciplined. Guys can and will develop. Everyone wanted Fries, it took him 3 years to develop. Jenkins is coming in, it took him 3 years. The list goes on and on. Can't overpay for mediocre talent, it's not the right approach. It will be addressed but some experts with track records like what they see. I can get behind that.

So the same thing as most .NETers are saying. Look at what they can get in free agency and the draft and hope some of the young guys improve.

Hopefully that's true, but I think we're all aware of "coach speak" at this point. They're certainly not going to come right out and admit it if the new offensive coaches don't like what they see.

I would also add that when you go out and try to sign a OG for $50 million, you probably think we need a little help there. I can't imagine they would have done that if they really believed that the guys we have just need a little coaching up.

I have been posting the same, no need to panic; give the Schneider Line another season or two to develop.

It tells me they think they only need 1 spot filled since all we know they went after openly. That would be LG. They may still like what is there, they are just on a different timeline. I get coach speak. Just giving my opinion and what I have read into the totality of it all.

You can't fix something that doesn't need fixing, at least not yet. Our OL has the highest potential, it's the signature piece by our GM John Schneider. All it needs is time and patience.

John philosophy on OL is sound, and he drafted some high ceiling guy guys like Anthony Bradford.

Give them time.
