1- If they fire Norton
2- Not allow Pete to interfere in new D coordinators scheme
3- Hand the O over to Wilson to call plays
4- IF THEY HAVE ANYONE IN CHARGE TO MAKE THIS ALL HAPPEN

Look we can all wish, no?

Crazy to think, but Geno has a chip and wants to show he deserves to be a starter again. Any QB would.

Last night he didn’t fold, and outside an illegal contact that led to the game ending INT, he did everything you could want to try to rally this team to win. I was shocked, but if the team can get that shit show defense back to league average, who knows. Other teams will go through injuries, and that’s when things get interesting.

Said in another post that Geno won't save the team, but it sure was nice to see someone focusing on proper reads and checkdowns. A huge chunk of the process that was IMMEDIATELY evident when he came in that was missing.

He had no agenda other than finding and throwing to an open receiver!!!!! Imagine that!!!! No blown 'timing routes' where no one is where they are supposed to be, followed by lots of 'what happened' head shaking on the sidelines.

Howie said it well in the pregame last night: "This is a must win for Seattle. If they don't win this, there's no way they are going to catch the Cardinals in the division"

That was true before he said it last week, and it was true last night. Two bad/injured quarterbacks one that we squeaked out a win with, and the other that embarassed us.

Put us up against a couple healthy and un-injured teams in contention in the AFC - and watch the bloodletting. Green bay in January? That's a hell of a long way off.

I wouldn't be surprised if Geno provides some much needed stability for the offense. He will play within the system and showed last night that he's got some skill.

This place would be singing a completely different tune had Lockette not slipped and the lastbdrive not ended in an INT. All the BS about the Rams giving Smith yards is just that. You know what top defenses do when the opposing starter goes out? They lick their chops, pin their ears back and go after him. Geno took it and save for the Lock slip, was chopping them up.

Not sure about winning the division, but if Smith can limit turnovers, I think a lot of people are going to be shocked at what the team can do without RW under center. And that's less an indictment of Wilson and more praise for a qb that seems more than capable of running the offense. Small sample size, but I'm actually exited to see what he can do. We know now after four and a half games what we are otherwise...

A week of practice with the ones and getting timing down better will be interesting to see how it translates, nobody is going to throw a nicer deep ball the Wilson, be curious on how well Geno's will look or if he just keeps to the 40 and under stuff.

I think they have a legit shot at winning the division if they sneak into Arizona's locker room and steal their jerseys

Realistically to win the division the Seahawks will have to beat the Cardinals twice and win in Los Angeles. Sure, it could happen with 2 wins rather than 3 but that's a really low percentage possibility.

realistically, I hope they have a winning record. The defense is that bad.

I remember when Doug Baldwin slipped in a Packers game and Russ threw an INT. Russ still got blamed.

Coming in with low expectations is a beautiful thing. We've seen it time and time again and yet, we run with these narratives. All of a sudden, we're seeing things with rose colored glasses. I re-watched Geno's miracle drive and was amazed at how uneventful it was. The way some are talking about him finding the open receivers, you'd think people were watching Peyton out there.

Unless Geno is capable of scoring 2.2 TDs a game, he's a downgrade. The people acting as if Russ' offense was extremely anemic, will get a reality check when those easy throws Russ would make no longer looks as routine. Nothing against Geno, I just think we've watched Russell Wilson for so long we've lost perspective.

True using TE's the middle of the field intermediate range passes isn't anything special, unless we are used to seeing Russell Wilson.
