'hawks off/def nickname this year: "Flash Bang"

What do you guys think of "Flash Bang" for our nickname? If things go the way we are thinking, Percy, Wilson, and Marshawn will provide all the flash that the cameras can handle and we all know the defense is gonna provide endless highlight reams of Bang! Offense stuns 'em, and the Defense knocks them off there feet!

Welcome aboard. Just playing around a little with ya. Your nickname has some thought behind it. You should try getting one of the radio guys behind it, like Bob and Groz did with the whole LOB thing, which seemed forced at the time but now gets play across the league and country.

Agreed! Forced nick names are just a bad idea. Even the Legion of Boom is a terrible nick name. Sounds like comic book characters that wear their underware on the outside. I have a hard time thinking "dominating, feared, crushing, powerful" ..ect when I hear Legion of Boom. If Kam would have said "We're gonna lay the wood down" instead of the word "Boom", it would have saved us all from that terrible name lol

Here's an example of a nickname that stuck:

The Hogs..

Seems the Line coach at one point was yelling at the linemen about something and uttered something like, "lets go Hogs" or something to that affect and it stuck.
It wasn't intentional or forced, it was just a great quip that slipped out.
