Like T-shirts or hats or anything? I dont know how popular it would be, but I would be willing to buy a hat or shirt with the sweet .net logo in the top left.
Has .net ever considered merchandise?

We had them at one time and it took Aros forever to sell them. I still have my hat and shirt. Seemed like a good idea at the time. But people backed out and he got stuck with them.

I have to second KitsapGuy's point. We had shirts and hats that Aros paid to have produced based on people's feedback but when it came time to pay up, very few did. Seems back then folks would just comment on a thread saying how much they were all in but it was just for show.
It just isn't worth it because you cannot count on people keeping their word.

A prepay would be cool. There are plenty of sites that let you create shirts and order just a few. If Rock or whoever had a design created already and gave us the link, I think we can order them personally too.

There are a few merch outlets that are capable of printing and shipping on demand, which would eliminate the need for carrying inventory, thus entirely eliminating the risk of offering merch for sale. Granted, the profit margins will be slimmer, but that would be a fair trade for the complete absence of risk.
