I bet the Vikings are laughing all the way to the bank. And the Saints are licking their chops.
LOL. The Saints are licking their chops because we won't have a player who's played 16 snaps for us this year? The hyperbole and overreactions in this thread are silly.

Ehh, he's listed as doubtful, not out so that's a good sign. I imagine he'll be fine with some rest. They're still being cautious, definitely possible it means more but I think he'll be alright.

Wow people, he's had what, 2 touches? Have we been ok without him thus far? We can win without him. He's a luxury not a lynchpin (no pun intended) until he's a regular contributor. Just hope this doesn't turn into Greg Oden 2.0

On the bright side if he does come back fit enough to play throughout the playoffs nobody is gonna know how to gameplan for our offense because they'll have never seen it at full throttle.
Pete Carroll is a genius. Go Hawks.

Fairly obvious he was rushed back or he rushed himself back.
Unfortunate but not the end of the world.
Lets hope he can make it back at some point for the playoffs.
We lose a dangerous weapon...but we still have a good offense, the sky isn't falling.

And there are are some of us who haven't said one thing about Harvin until now. I'm one of those people who wanted my gut feeling that this signing was a mistake to be proven wrong. Well so far I've been right on the money. A 1st round WR very likely wouldn't be as explosive as Harvin, but at least he would have been playing and making an actual contribution to this season.

With that said, I still hope that Harvin proves me wrong and I bet that will be the best tasting crow I've ever eaten....but right now the oven isn't even being pre-heated yet. Hell, I've yet to even light the pilot light.

Interesting that most of the frustration and anger is directed at the player. Who put him in there?

Seriously, what did Percy do wrong?
He didn't disclose his pre existing condition when he signed his contract did he?

Didnt the Seahawks Dr's give him a physical? I really dont understand why Percy is to blame for any of this... I also will predict based on PC quotes I read on Seahawks Insider that he will play again this year...

This is a disaster. How will we even win another game ever?? We will probably miss the playoffs now. Oh man.

People need to get a freakin grip. Or a second hobby. I'm pretty sure that we went 10-1 with close to zero % contribution from Percy. This is a team built to be exactly that..... a T E A M. If our success hinged so heavily on one player then it would be the fault of the FO. But they've built this team with a deep roster. We lose Thurmond, BB. and Percy in a week and everyone is freaking out but forgetting that we've basically won EVERY SINGLE GAME they've been out. Think about it. Thurmond was out all last year and the team is 6-0 without BB. Without Percy? 10-1.

Please, please, please, calm down. Everyone is antsy because we haven't seen football for two weeks. What happens when we beat the Saints without Percy and the Legion of Bong? What then? Calm down and enjoy the ride people. The Mariners will be back in spring training before you know it and you'll have plenty to complain about then.

Lol... seriously?

I'm fine w/ you feeling that way. Just be sure not to root for the guy when he's wrecking defenses for the SEA Seahawks this year or next. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be an injured player in the NFL w/ a fan base as fickle as this one.

"We don't see any big issue, structurally," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Saturday. "It's just [the way his hip is] responding from the load of the game [against Minnesota on Nov. 17]. He had 16 active plays in there, so it wasn't very much.

"He's just sore. So we don't want to push it. It's not worth it.

He's coming off a major surgery and wasnt in too much of game shape, which is understandable. Carroll also understands that having Percy 100 percent going into the playoffs and into next season is a hell of a lot better than having an 80 percent harvin through the rest of the year, or potentially get injured even worse.

And the beauty of it all is, the saints still have to take time to prepare for if harvin does play, effectively taking time away from hour already effective offense that has threats all over the place.

Some folks are more interested in their own ego's and want to be the first to scream "See, I told you so. I was right all along, look at me!"

Ugh, I hate fans like that. I don't know if it's the same in your fanbase, but a majority of our fanbase goes absolutely ape**** over UDFA. Guys who might see 15 snaps a season, and the instant they do even the tiniest thing good they're like, "THAT DUDE'S A BEAST! OMG. LETS CUT HALF OUR TEAM FOR HIM."

After the Atlanta loss Russell said we were going to win it all this year. We didn't have Percy then. We're still going to win this year because Russell is the man. Let Percy heal and return when he is at full strength.

Thank you. Now I can ignore this thread for the rest of the season as I know that there is at least ONE fan out there w/ some common sense.

Word on Harvin all along was that he was a guy that would NEVER play through pain. Now that he has gotten the huge guaranteed contract, there is no reason for things to change. After all, Kam reportedly played through the same injury last year and just passed on surgery. Even if it's only residual soreness and not indicative of further damage, Harvin ain't playing through it

who ever said how will we win another game or make that inference ? I keep reading this thread but I don't see that anywhere strange?
