I just don't get letting people deal with this how they deal with it. We have people offering up Kleenex to the 12th man. Are you not a 12? You can hardly speak for an entire fan base. Why are we so angry at each other?

These "Fans?" bagging on Harvin are the same genius' that were totally upset when PC was hired, and when RW was picked to start. Why not let the coaches coach, the doctors doctor, and just watch and enjoy the games.. Few here have a clue what they are talking about, they just want to blow smoke and sound important... "Oh, I'm so hurt because I was right all along..." BS meter is pegged..
If any of you know more that Pete, John, and Paul Allen, then we will appoint you spokesperson...
Chill and watch the game, and cheer no matter who is on the field for the Hawks..

Don't get too flustered over a joke, bro.

So...because I'm concerned about Harvin's health, what looks like legitimate concern at this moment, I bagged on Pete and Russell?

This is precisely what KARAVARUS was talking about.

I wouldn't use the word we. There are a few in this thread that feel very strongly that it is their job to sanctimoniously mock those that have reacted emotionally.

Yeah, cool. I'm not flustered at all. I just don't get why others reacting a certain way matters to anyone else. And I didn't to mean to single you out of the pack there. Sorry about that.

I just see too many of us calling each other names for absolutely no reason. I am hoping we can just disagree with someone saying we should release or trade him without having to perpetuate the situation by calling them idiots or questioning fandom.

And I swear I'm not trying to tell anyone how to be. I'm just saying I don't understand why people are getting so upset at others' point of view. Oh well.

Seattle is the #2 scoring offense WITHOUT Harvin. Yes I am disappointed in this trade so far but I'm not worried about our Super Bowl chances even if he goes on IR. If anything I'm pissed about the trade because clearly we are a fine team without him and that money could have went elsewhere.

I don't understand why we just can't lie on the injury report.

Tell the media he is probable then if he can't go he can't go. Hell even injured he would be good as a decoy for a play or three till the defense figured out that we aren't going to use him.

Why should we be forthcoming to the Saints. Don't understand it at all.

There is reacting emotionally, and then there is tearing a player to shreds merely because he's still rehabbing from a significant injury and the team is trying to do the right thing with a special player.

This thread would be much different if it didn't have layers and layers of poster talking unnecessary trash about a player in the most negative way they can.

And the people who are defending Harvin, aren't doing it because they aren't concerned about him, most of us, just realize some things are just out of our control and their is no need to bury player.

And some posters like myself are just fed up with the incessant trash talking and criticism of players on MY team.

Any of you can say whatever the hell you want, and I can say whatever the hell I want as well. If people want to focus on and magnify each negative aspect this team as to endure, so be it... I can criticize the posters who do so or can I not. Am I being hypocritical or something, am I being a bad fan because I'm standing up for the players that play on the team that I root for almost religiously?

There is nothing wrong with people being concerned, its just when some people take it to the most negative extreme is what bothers me.

Your posts, and too many others, went far beyond concern.

worry about what? Playing a game without him? He is a luxury not a necessity. we'll be fine as long as the O line does it's job.

Worried in the sense that the last few days everyone has been telling us not to worry because Harvin will be fine.

Well he's not fine.

who cares, we haven't had him all season. or last year.. Go Hawks

Until it's written that Harvin is out for the season + playoffs, I'm not worried if he misses a game due to a set back. The fact he was able to come back as quickly as he did was impressive enough.

If he has soreness and no damage then when not play though it? Pop a few Ibuprofen and get on the field...
