We will see though.
Well after looking at the situation I figured he was on the 3 month timeline without factoring in that he's in peak physical shape and young. Figure 91 days from August 1st and you get October 31st for your typical person. So October 17th isn't outlandish at all.FlyingGreg":2kmsbujw said:KCHawkGirl":2kmsbujw said:Nice to see my thought of him returning anytime between game 7-9 looks like a fact and not optimistic thinking.
Well, a little premature yet. We'll see if it actually happens.
But the earlier, the better!
I've looked at this Harvin scenario as an "in season" trade for him since he went down. Nobody in the NFL will acquire a player with more talent in the season.

Over a month after he thinks he'll be back? Any specific reason why you're being so pessimistic?

Thanks for proving the intention of my post (you in my opinion are a member of the "usual suspects"). As usual you take the bait. hook, line, and sinker. It's ok, we will be more like I envision than you. Not mad at u.HawkWow":kg04quxx said:Minnesota didn't portray Harvin as anything other than a weapon deserving of a 1st, 3rd and 7th. It wouldn't be in their best interest to do otherwise.
Harvin sullied his own rep. On top of his injuries (some undetectable, if not questionable), he was becoming a liability in the locker room. He dissed both his QB and coach during a game and in front of an audience. It wasn't the first time (or even first team) that he acted out in such a manner. Harvin had to go and the Vikes were compensated HEAVILY for yhim. Bitter? They are likely wearing party hats. Don't portray the Vikings as the bad guys in that relationship. That's madness.
Rice basically gave Minnesota 1 great year. Like Harvin, he was constantly hurt, then wanted too much money. We gambled on Rice, they'd seen enough. So far, so good.
What other reasons could the Vikes have for this alleged bitterness?
TJ? He also missed games due to injury, was an average QB, and they let him walk.
Bevell? When Frazier replaced Childress..he canned Bevell and hired Musgrave.
Winfield? I don't think they're bitter..or they'd invite him to un-retire.
Burleson? They basically got Hutch AND our 3rd. We got Nate.
I doubt Minnesota is bitter with the Seattle Seahawks. The opposite would be closer to truth.
