Good point. In that way they are different. Geno is more on an in-game rollercoaster, while Krieg was one from game to game.Nah. Krieg was either hot or cold the entire game. He didn't go back and forth in the same one.
I agree totally.I watched all of Kreig’s games, and Geno is not the same QB. Kreig on this team would be fun to watch.
To Geno’s credit, he is making something happen with an offense that can’t consistently run between the Tackles.
Very true and reasonable post.I can accept that I'm too hard on Geno at times, and he does do a lot of things very well, but his decision making in the red zone is just inexcusable for an alleged veteran QB. We're not always going to get away with it. Hell, we probably win the Lions game at least if his brain doesn't do whatever the hell it does deep in opponent territory. I don't fault anyone who wonders whether we'd be able to trust him in the playoffs. He's 34. We shouldn't be waiting for him to develop this stuff.
