I need to see him to use his legs more often.
He's run either four or five times in seven of our ten games, with one week where he ran for more (six) and two where he ran for less (one week with one, one week with two). That's probably an appropriate amount for him. He's fast, but not particularly elusive and if he ran more, I don't know that they'd be as effective. It does feel like he doesn't really consider running until late in the game, but I don't have any data backing it up, and it wouldn't shock me to learn that I'm wrong.

I think what he needs to do is move around in the pocket more imo. He tends to be a bit like a statue in the pocket at times. If we look at guys like Brady and Manning they were slow as all hell, but were surprisingly elusive when in the context of the pocket. They knew how to buy themselves extra time by setting up their blockers, Geno isn't the best tat that. He's also got some wheels on him, I'd love to see more rollouts from the offense as well.

I agree. It's like he doesn't have a feel for where the pressure is coming from, and where he might be able to move to. Although I admit he was somewhat better at that in 2022, so maybe that's a function of having a bad O-line. This year, he often doesn't have the option of stepping up in the pocket because the interior line is being pushed into his face.

He's always has been a bit stiff looking in the pocket. I think part of it is him trying to get ready to lock and load. Geno almost always throws from a very stable platform. He can throw on the run and such -- he just doesn't seem to like to. There is pluses and minuses here, he almost always throws the ball with textbook mechanics and footwork. It's a major part of what makes him so accurate.
