Here's an article stating that some PFF analyst has Geno ranked 18th overall for starting QBs in the NFL. Not that I give a rip what any analysts say per se, truly, but out of curiosity, where would YOU rank Geno as a diehard Seahawks fan?

Geno is in the middle like the Mayfields, Cousins, etc of the NFL. Up/down, streaky and capable of big time throws but also some bonehead throws.

That I think is fair.

But I think Geno can be a top 10 QB as he showed in 2022.

I think 18 is completely fair although I understand the argument for him being higher. He threw for 20 touchdowns which is about as average as you can be. Passer rating of 92 which is average as well.

In a new offense though it wouldn’t shock me if he beats that and ends up in the 12-14 range either.

As long as that Me show in Pissburg is ranked after him, I'm good.

Here's the list:

Honestly looks fair to me. There's really nobody above him that I think should clearly be below, and nobody below I think should clearly be above.

I put Geno in the 15-20 range. But here's a question. Would you rather have Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels or Anthony Richardson than Geno? If you would at least choose two out of the three like myself, then he's in that 15-20 range for sure, methinks. Basically middle of the pack and on the higher or lower end of the middling QB's depending upon what young QB's you would choose over him.

I’d say 10-15 sounds about right. I could see the 18 argument if age is a factor in this ranking

stroud got slighted the most on that list. I’d take him 6 all day. The 4 after Herbert all have serious flaws, besides Rodgers, but age seems to have caught him.

10-15 sounds right. At least 1/2 of the QB's between 8-15 could probably do better in a different system. Geno fits that mold.

The tale of four halves rings true. First half of 2022 plus second half of 2023 Geno is top 5.

Second half of 2022 plus first half of 2023 Geno is probably 25ish.

I'm not convinced Kyler Murray is better than Geno. I also don't think Dak Prescott should be ranked ahead of Stafford, Rodgers and Hurts.

Kyler is more hype than anything. Stats and/or being able to run around is cool and all. But his decision making, and lack of leadership is BAD.

Geno is a leader. Geno between 15-18 isn't unrealistic at all. Seems pretty accurate.

I agree on Dak, and I think Trevor Lawrence is too high as well, I was just referring to Geno's spot on the list, although I seem to have a higher opinion on Murray than most on this board.

The only thing Murray does more than Geno is run but Geno is a significantly better passer and considering our receiving corp, I'd much rather have Geno.
