So, nothing? Wake PC up and get him his prunes and Metamucil and maybe he starts to do his job?

And how has that been working out for us?
Just because it’s the way they do it doesn’t mean it’s the way it should be done.
Evidence? 3 playoff wins in 6 years.
There is something to be said for going all in and then planning on a tank year down the road sometime when the party comes to a crashing stop and the team rebuilds for another go at it. Posters who really only care about Super Bowls are reasonable to campaign for these sort of moves because the occasional tank year is highly effective at building draft capital.GaiusMarius":13dcty96 said:Serious question - if you knew that Wilson's shelf life with the Seahawks was definitely limited, how would you manage the team? Keep in mind we have limited cap space (at least so far barring restructures) and very limited draft capital.

We have no future. At least not short term.
Because after this season we have no QB. Almost assuredly.
So who do you add to your team when you have zero idea what your team will look like after Wilson?
Can you afford to load up on guys this year to try to make a run to try to convince Wilson to stay? not in this division.
So you can only make weird short term 1-2 year moves unless there is some gaping hole you have to fix. And even then, how do you fix it when you have no idea what your play style will be moving forward?
Once we lose Wilson, we almost certainly lose DK and there is no way Adams would stick around for the disaster to follow.
So what is the FA strategy when you don't even know where the biggest holes in your team will be after Wilson?
We are going to wait until the end, patch up the holes with JAG FAs, hope to get one or two cheaper but splash FAs that got overlooked (to prevent fan rebellion), then play out the string. There cannot possibly be a plan to win anything this season, more likely I expect they are expecting to miss the playoffs.
We have to realize where we are, and we are not in a position to expect this team to be better than last year. We will be marginally if not significantly worse in several areas. Most of the teams in our division got better and we got worse.
We played AZ 50/50 last year
Lost to the Rams 2/3
49ers is an * because of the injuries
Nothing indicates there is any reason for this team to pay much for FAs because we can't expect much but the bottom of our division right now.
