Free Agency: Day 3. Crickets.

Yeah, those 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 years, over and over again were just amazing...….

And that 2-14 season was awesome...….

At the same time, the 3 playoff wins in 6 seasons is just plain not good enough with the talent of this team. But, that's been covered in 73 other threads....

But if I am to believe some of the posters on this board, this team has no talent and it might as well be blown up for draft picks that are no guarantee to even make a team.

The 1st 3 days of free agency is when the 4-12 teams are supposed to get better...not the 12-4 teams.

LOL, dude I remember the days when we were lucky to have 3 playoff wins in 36 years.

This is true, I waffle between appreciation for winning seasons versus hoping to get to the playoffs, but I also see that we are wasting a window, Remember Ground Chuck, great teams solid defense, great run game, but damned if he would trust the QB to lead a team, until Warner went down, then we went to one game of the Super Bowl on Krieg's arm.

Uh, no. We were one game from the Super Bowl in Warner's rookie year. A year later, when Warner went down and Krieg went nuts, we got our doors blown off in Miami in the divisional round.

You are correct, but going to Miami on Krieg's arm was still real out of context for Knox, the point is and I know everyone wants to find fault in posts and nit pic, but he made a change even against his gut and his mantra. He went pass a lot more.

Pete is not that flexible compared to Knox, and that is saying something. Hell even George Allen was willing to court the devil and pass if his arm was twisted rather then have it broken.

Good point oldhawk. This is and will continue to be a very good team. I just laugh these days at all the sky is falling, everything sucks, we never do anything in Free Agency posts. Only to see them make 2 solid moves the same day.
Oh well, fan how you want. This place is getting worse by the day...….
