Build an O-line first
Easier said than done. I'm not sure they can.

???? We need a LG AND RG.
We really just need a LG.
Are you referring to Laumea or Haynes? The former does look worth developing, but I don't know how comfortable I am committing to him as the future starter. I'm looking at him more as potential quality depth at this point, and would still be prioritizing OG starters in the offseason. That's a work in progress. I think the coaching staff found one worth developing from the past draft.

I'm on board with it too, I just question how smart it would be to go into next season with the mindset that he's locked in as a starter. I still think we prioritize new starting guards, and if Laumea beats them out, awesome. If he doesn't, he looks like a potential quality depth piece, and you can't have too much of that on the OL.Laumea strikes me as someone who wants to fit in as a starter. I'm on board with the Sataoa Laumea journey. Already anticipating his continued growth.
I anticipate we'll see a lot of competition among players now that most of the existing staff will have had a full year of working together. They have done a fairly in depth survey of what they had to work with ...... including looking at some midyear additions. The upcoming post season roster churn will be engaging. Given the scarcity of offensive linemen, that will necessarily include a draft pick or two.I'm on board with it too, I just question how smart it would be to go into next season with the mindset that he's locked in as a starter. I like Allar. He's 6'5", 235 and has a cannon for an arm. The kid would be perfect for us to draft this year because he would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He has already committed to return to Penn St. though. I think he will be a 1st round pick next year.Good thing about this draft. It’s the deepest and best RB draft in over a decade. And maybe the worst qb draft in years. Too bad we don’t need a RB.
Although I do think Allar could be good, but you have to convince him to come out this year, and let him sit the bench year 1.
Kurtis Rourke or Riley Leonard would be nice mid round draft pick up for a qb … cheaper option and both can move when need be and usually take care of the ball … do not pay Geno another cent … and also we need another option other than Woolen at CB he just isn’t into it anymore … his comments after the game case and point …
The problem is he's going top 5 so JS would have to expend a lot of draft capital to move up 15 spots.Scouting Report: Summary
Sanders projects as a day-one NFL starter with the potential to develop into a franchise quarterback. His exceptional processing speed, accuracy, and poise translate perfectly to modern NFL offensive schemes. His steady improvement through 2024, particularly in completion percentage and efficiency, demonstrates a quarterback who continues to refine his game.
We need as many guards as we can get and maybe a tackle. We need to create competition. We need a qb too that has a future at least. Sam Howell didn’t show much composure out there, he was on the spot, but I think Lock had more composure than Howell. Or we need a real back up, I think a back up could bridge the gap as well as geno, but geno doesn’t believe he’s a back up right now. I like cooper rush, I don’t think any team is gonna line up to pay him as the starter and he could be a great mentor to a new kid. We can fleece Dallas like we fleeced Denver, I mean Jerry traded for Trey lance, we could get cooper rush and at least a second rd pick from jerry???? We need a LG AND RG.
We also need a LT and RT as well.???? We need a LG AND RG.
I like this idea! Same way we brought in hasselbeck. Trade for a developing backup from another team.Anyone think the Lions would be willing to trade Hendon Hooker?
Two would be good. Definitely need one.We need two guards
