Nobody in the top 10 is going to want Geno and Woolen unless there's a "Major League" kind of situation going on.
You couldn’t trade Geno for a mid round pick. Thats not a knock on him but an average QB in his mid thirties isn’t getting anything in return.

Cut Geno. Don’t pay DK. Bury the hatchet with McCloughan. Get your salary cap in order for a 2026 build.

Draft trenches in rounds 1-4, maybe 1-6, unless a phenomenal CB is available.

Pick up Tommy Mellott in round 7, or as a UDFA.

Either he works out at the pro level, or you have a shot at Arch Manning in 2026.

I'd trade our 1st rd pick for the vikes OC cuz he made darnold look good and their oline for the most part gave him time but I firmly believe we could be so much better , not really great , but better by a long shot with a different offensive coordinator, It.s way more grubb than geno but he has thrown some really stupid balls this season

This year that would be Ewers, later on Kurtis Rourke or Cade Klubnik... against Nathan Rourke from the BC Lions and Sam Howell may the best man win :)

90% of rookies QBs will fail miserably playing behind our offensive line and no run game support

Drake Maye is playing well behind PFF’s #32 ranked line.

Mayes team sucks. He’s not playing as bad as their record. He’s playing good enough to win.

Is geno worth more than Josh fields or Trey lance, 💡💡💡💡trade him to Dallas… man cooper rush for Geno and we can still draft lineman and try to find the next Tom Brady in the draft

I would consider getting a new GM and starting fresh. I don’t think he has drafted a QB other than Russ. We are in a bind at the moment but sometimes Oline is a symptom of not drafting well. It can also mean coaching and growing those positions. I would give the coaches a pass this year as the entire staff is new. However we could find a GM who can draft the next championship team. It can be from the same John Schneider tree but have moved around to other organizations and have the experience with college recruiting as well. When you spend too much time in a single organization, your thought process and decision making can be blurred from a single line of philosophy. We would have had some options if we had drafted late round QBs and tried to develop them. If it worked fine but if it didn’t we atleast tried. Now it feels like we are in a bind. Geno is great but his age, contract, expectations and growth are all tough things to overcome.

Get two road grader IOLs in the first couple rounds, then a couple thumpers (Chuck Knox term) on D. Another year with Geno, I say get Grubb some mentoring, or replace him, but Grubb will improve a lot in the offseason, now that he understands the NFL. Geno knows the offense well.

The defense is coming along nicely enough. We just need an offense and O-Line and QB that doesn't give up 7 drive-killing sacks a game and tbat can run the ball enough to keep defenses honest.

Kurtis Rourke or Riley Leonard would be nice mid round draft pick up for a qb … cheaper option and both can move when need be and usually take care of the ball … do not pay Geno another cent … and also we need another option other than Woolen at CB he just isn’t into it anymore … his comments after the game case and point …

Problem is, we will be drafting right around where we were last year. Potentially even in a worse position.

The last QB taken before our first pick was Bo Nix at 12. We would have had to give up a lot to move up 4 spots to take him. Even more for Penix at 8. Unlikely we could have snagged either.

The next QB taken in the draft, after Nix, was Rattler, in the 5th round. (I might have missed one in my quick, cursory search).

That's what we are going to perpetually be dealing with, unless we tank for a year or two.

Drafting mid first round QBs makes about as much sense as extending Geno.

Get the QB late day 2 early day 3. I was thinking like a Jaxson Dart or Dillon Gabriel and have them sit a year. Get the best available corner round 1 and the best available IOL round 2.
