This offense lights up in nationally televised games. That #2 Arizona defense that beat us in Week 16, well, it had no answer to Russell Wilson on Thursday night earlier in the season...and that was in Arizona. We also rolled the 49ers (another team that beat us later) and the Saints on the national stage.

I realize this isn't a terribly intellectual observation, but it's just hard to be too worried about the Saints, and I don't go the easy route of blaming the O-line for everything. It took the #2 defense and a bunch of dropped passes to lose at home. Barring that kind of day Saturday, I think we pull it out.

Seahawks had the #32 ranked Offense in the NFL over the last 4 weeks. That's last place for those of you not paying attention.

I'm worried about the O not stepping up to do their part. Hope they prove me wrong.

I think the Hawks win, but not because of their Offense.

I think the offense comes out more aggressive and amped up, I think Wilson uses his tools meaning Hrvin and Baldwin and Tate as well as TE and Kearse to keep things off balance. Lynch with decently fresh legs and in playoff mode is going to crash the party inside as well to make them play honest.

The crowd is going to be unmerciful to the Saints offense.

The weather will play into our favor as well with us being more familiar with footing and weather as well as wind conditions inside the stadium.

Bevell is on a audition for his next job so will be calling plays to win and not plays to be safe and not lose.

Nothing worries me except the negativity by certain fans.

This is going to happen, we are going to win. Our OL will rise to the occasion, Our defense is going to be up many notches. Russell is going to be outstanding and the game will go down close, tight, fought gallantly, but won by us!!

Lynch. Starts and ends there. Marshawn is going to beast in this game. I see a continuation of the O Line push that we got in the third and fourth quarter of the Rams game. I think it all started when we went 2 TE. Beast started ripping off runs behind Mike Rob. It's gonna happen, book it.

I trust our offensive POTENTIAL. I do not trust our offense on a game to game basis.

Our offensive line is downright awful. This makes it very hard to trust our offense in a big game since everything revolves around them.

I don't think we can be too hopeful that Harvin will have a big impact since Bevell has such illogical, inconsistent, and predictable play calls in the majority of his games. I do personally think Harvin will have a nice impact, but I don't logically think we can count on it with his limited play this season and Bevell as our OC.

My biggest fear is seeing another game like our last 49ers game this year, and our Falcons playoff loss last year. A game where we try to force the run excessively and can't get it going all game, never adjusting the plays to exploit our opponents defensive weaknesses.

So in short I am not confident that Bevell will call a good game, and I am not confident that our offensive line will perform to even a below average level as a whole. Meaning I would not be surprised to see our Rushing game fail and RW being under insane pressure all game.

I would also not be surprised to see us have uncharacteristic fumbles or interceptions on offense.

And I expect we will be heavily penalized the entire game and that could play a big roll to keep the Saints within striking distance or even with scoring leads.

I just really don't trust Bevell as OC, seeing what happened in our games last year in the playoffs it's pretty bad. Also our offense has gotten worst in the majority of statistical categories this season compared to last. Bevell is just not good in important games from what I've seen.

Even with all that being said, I still feel VERY confident we will beat the Saints :)

I think Russel Wilson will play extremely well and ensure this victory even if all my other fears are correct.

So in summary our offense is capable to absolutely wreck people and rack up tons of points with their talent, but I am not confident they will do so. I am more confident they will be mediocre or poor but I still feel we are at least slight Super Bowl favorites.

I'm much more concerned about playing the 49ers than the Saints. Carolina would be a little scary but I think 49ers are by far the worst. And then of course the East Coast horrible weather Super Bowl game is probably just as dangerous as the 49ers regardless who gets there in the AFC since I have a bad feeling refs will ruin the game again like 2005.

I still feel like this is our year and we SHOULD win the Super Bowl. I don't think we'll get a better chance than this, and if we lose it's entirely our fault with failed coaching or player execution. To me our talent to win the Super Bowl is undeniable compared to the other teams this season.

I just can't sugarcoat my feelings about our team, I tell it like it is in my mind even if I don't like to hear it haha. So I feel very confident we'll still win despite my criticisms above.

Also Drew Brees looked pretty bad to me in the Eagles game so if he plays like that again they might as well just throw in the towel. If we lose to the Saints that would be laughable and we have no business winning Super Bowl if we can't even get past them at home.

Hopefully this will make the OP feel better:

You can gameplan all you want. Coaches can't play the game.

At the end of the day, on the field, it all comes down to executing said game plan and individual physical matchups.

The Saints really don't match up well against us physically. When you have glaring physical mismatches, it makes it that much harder to execute a game plan. The short of it is: you can have the best game plan in the world, it won't help you if you're getting your ass kicked.
