DK Play not suppose to happen

Post game interviews with HC Carroll and later with Russ, included BOTH of them citing that the coaches and players went over the likelihood of this very situation coming up and practiced THIS play for it. Russ said the only thing he altered was the way he threw the ball, in order to make sure DK caught it to seal the game. He added that had he laid it out DK might hae scored another TD just like the earlier one. Neither mentioned that someone else was the primary.

That's Russell Wilson in every game across his career. Especially on very big plays, big moments, important match ups. He will ad lib. Make the change on the fly. He will throw a bomb to somebody you don't expect and complete it. That's what makes him so dangerous. He is great at buying time and then doing the unexpected with it. Also completing it and not letting all that opportunity go to waste.

TY John. I don't see the same thing in the post that others see, but sometimes people are influenced by previous posts and that in turn influences how they read the upcoming post.

I know, I've had many of my posts responded to in ways that completely blew my mind. But rather than go back at the poster, I try to clarify what I said. After that, it's on them.

I can see how others might misinterpret that post, but I don't expect flippant, anti-Russell posts from you. I think maybe the board just needs to get used to your style. I know when I first saw your posts come on the board, I had the impression that you were going to complain a lot. I believe I was mistaken in that thought.

IMHO, this post was to address others who have negative posts about Russell being so "by-the-book." I also believe you could have worded it "Tyler was the primary receiver," as your post sounded like Tyler was the only receiver.
