Why pull your ace all year pitching a shut out at 87 pitches. This is was unheard of 15-20 years ago.
True, but it's pretty common now a days. Significant injuries to starting pitchers is also a lot more common now a days than it used to be. Pretty sure the Astros denied one of their pitchers a chance at a complete game no hitter twice this year.
And for the record, I agree with both of you guys. I think they should have sent Logan back out there to pitch the 8th. We really needed that game, and our bullpen has become so inconsistent and unreliable.
