Been around since around 2004-2005. Not sure exactly when I became an active poster. Claim to fame, once won at .net draft competition and got so .net flair.

Love the group. My brothers from another mother!

Nope, they never did. They simply wanted me to give it to them. Shmucks.
Way to hold steady! We'd still be here regardless of the name but it would've been sweet of them to offer a multi-figure buyout offer on that name! I feel we do the Seahawks organization proud here.

I know, mannnnnn got a lot of play here back in the day but anyone who came after that era wouldn't know what the hell we were referring to, lol.

I remember that guy who loved showing off his girlfriend. And I recall we didn’t mind it too since those were the days when Shack allowed rated R pics.
Wasn't that DJToy2000?

Vetamur was a good poster, too.

Really good guy. Wanted to buy .NET at one time but didn’t work out. I think he would have been a great owner. He bought my ticket to the Chargers game (the infamous heat wave game in San Diego) and let me stay with him, basically funding the entire trip.

Highly intelligent, an understated personality and a true blue fan of both .NET and the Hawks. We had some great convos over UFOs, lol.

He ended up on another site to my disappointment but he’s a great guy who I admire tremendously.

And while we are on the topic of .NET alumni, it behooves me to mention @kidhawk who has been here from nearly the beginning. David is not one to place himself in the spotlight, and he is likely cringing reading this post but too bad, lol. He was my right hand man for many years. We've had many great mods and admins over the years, some of whom are currently active with us today but I would place kidhawk as one of my favorites of all.

Probably the best temperament I've ever had in a mod, and his posting habits don't betray that quality. In fact, his temperament is so strong we've tried to get him back into the mod fold and he's respectfully declined. Smart man. LOL

He represents yet another reason why I am so proud of this community. A lot of great people have come through these walls and we are lucky to still have him around.

A toast to kidhawk!

Stumbled onto to the .Net spring of 2011 if memory serves me correctly.

As one of the old heads around here, I remember the pain of watching those kingdome teams, and then the highest of highs with the 2005 team. Just to have my soul crushed yet again.

It was when RW was drafted and those young bucks in the secondary that I knew, ok we might be onto something here.

The fire was again ignited, and to find a site with like minded folks to express your excitement about the teams new direction with Carroll and Schneider was a breath of fresh air.

Still proud to be one of the old heads posting here. Proud to be an original 12 and help create our culture. I can enjoy talking about the new look team, all the while helping keep the history of this franchise alive.

Yep...KH posts are a must read. Always objective and articulated well. In the rare times I have a countering position, the discussion's are never combative or emotional.

I only joined this forum in 2013. Damn that was a good year. I still feel like a newbie compared to some of the old heads around here. But I have been posting on Seahawks boards since the late 90s. I was a frequent flyer on the Usenet Seahawks Newsgroup back then. I still remember the names of a few regulars on there (Bill B, Mike K, Rob N). I wonder if any of them ever post here?

I actually forgotten when I joined but it was .net already I think. I do not know how to figure it out and at the end of the day it’s not so important.

OK...Another thread talking about old times brought me to thinking who here has been here and since when? I know the little part on the left states when everyone started, but I know that's not accurate because the system changed at some point and that's when we had to take new start dates.

If memory serves me right...I started back in either end of 00 or beginning of 01.

Who else....Todd..sorry you don't count man being the father of the Net..with much respect of course!

Also...fondest memory of the Net...for some reason..the napkin comes to mind. Anyone recall? For all newbies...feel free to chime in because you're family here too!
Buckethead Jones.
