Did the NFL ever make an offer for it? Obv it wasn't an offer you couldn't refuse...
Nope, they never did. They simply wanted me to give it to them. Shmucks.

There were some good ones. Like DjToy, PEHawk, BestFightStory, Ribeye...and lest we forget Lester.
One day I hope to meet all of you in person...one day!
Way to hold steady! We'd still be here regardless of the name but it would've been sweet of them to offer a multi-figure buyout offer on that name! I feel we do the Seahawks organization proud here.Nope, they never did. They simply wanted me to give it to them. Shmucks.
Wasn't that DJToy2000?I know, mannnnnn got a lot of play here back in the day but anyone who came after that era wouldn't know what the hell we were referring to, lol.
I remember that guy who loved showing off his girlfriend. And I recall we didn’t mind it too since those were the days when Shack allowed rated R pics.
Vetamur was a good poster, too.

Here Here! One of my favorite members I must say...And while we are on the topic of .NET alumni, it behooves me to mention @kidhawk who has been here from nearly the beginning. David is not one to place himself in the spotlight, and he is likely cringing reading this post but too bad, lol. He was my right hand man for many years. We've had many great mods and admins over the years, some of whom are currently active with us today but I would place kidhawk as one of my favorites of all.
Probably the best temperament I've ever had in a mod, and his posting habits don't betray that quality. In fact, his temperament is so strong we've tried to get him back into the mod fold and he's respectfully declined. Smart man. LOL
He represents yet another reason why I am so proud of this community. A lot of great people have come through these walls and we are lucky to still have him around.
A toast to kidhawk!

Yep...KH posts are a must read. Always objective and articulated well. In the rare times I have a countering position, the discussion's are never combative or emotional. And while we are on the topic of .NET alumni, it behooves me to mention @kidhawk who has been here from nearly the beginning. Buckethead Jones.OK...Another thread talking about old times brought me to thinking who here has been here and since when? I know the little part on the left states when everyone started, but I know that's not accurate because the system changed at some point and that's when we had to take new start dates.
If memory serves me right...I started back in either end of 00 or beginning of 01.
Who else....Todd..sorry you don't count man being the father of the Net..with much respect of course!
Also...fondest memory of the Net...for some reason..the napkin comes to mind. Anyone recall? For all newbies...feel free to chime in because you're family here too!
