This is probably a good policy, but I am frustrated with this organization.

I still have a bitter taste at how the Seahawks fans, particularly season ticket holders, were slammed and became the scapegoat for the embarrassment that was the Green Bay game. Even the Seahawks threw the fans under the bus.

It is the Seahawks organization, and the NFL at large, that have promoted and profited from the resale marketplace. Selling season tickets to people and organizations that are primarily buying season tickets to profit off of resale have contributed largely to the increase in the price of season tickets. While many home fans are priced out of season tickets, the Seahawks and NFL further profit from tickets sold through authorized resellers.

This has made it much easier for away fans to get tickets to NFL games. And often times they are willing to pay more on the secondary markets than home fans. Seahawks fans have taken advantage of this as well, making their voices heard in many other NFL stadiums.

If the organization can put out a better product then this isn’t so much of an issue. Other Seahawk fans would have been more willing to pay the secondary market price for the Packers, Bills and Niners games. Also, the noise was a direct factor of the play and got worse as the games went on. Unfortunately, there was way more for opposing fans to cheer for last year. They were so bad that I left at the end of the 3rd quarter for the Bills game. I generally stay to the end win or lose. But when the team didn’t bother to show up …
