Well I'm recently out of diapers and potty trained (mostly), so I don't got much to say. I wasn't even born here yet like all you old fogies. I'm looking forward to my adolescence when I can become a real pain in the arse to all of you.

I joined sometime around 2005-2006 just after the SB ref-stiffing, then was sad when the site changed domains. I lurked, but didn't rejoin for a bit; can't even remember my old screenname. Les liked this new one, and welcomed me back with some kind PMs.

I remember when PsychoBabbler was posting his fun fan-videos and Seahawks.com hosted them during the SB run. He and I had several deep and meaningful PMs about navigating life's challenges and dramatic changes. This site is not always just about football, you know...

This site is not always just about football, you know...

One of my greatest triumphs in life was creating a website that became more than just a football fan forum but a true community. There have been many friendships created here. Profound emotions, memories and moments shared together.

Some great humans have come and gone. Some great humans are here with us today.

It’s the humanity and community of .NET that has surpassed my most wildest of expectations when I created the site.

That is my legacy. Of which I am most proud of all.

I think I started in 1999 and I just rejoined this week like a quarter century later. I vaguely remember Sehawk2k, frasier, yourdaddy, Marty, and some dude with a boating business.

Won’t say my sn from that time bc it was kinda cringe.

I think I was around in 98, but if not soon after. My name changed about 4 times due to log in issues.

Best quote about having multiple accounts I have heard is "If you don't have at least 3 accounts, are you even trying"?

Ha, SO true! Account recovery wasn't really an internet thing in the first decade or so.

I've been around since 1885. Helped Orville get his flying thingy off the ground in 1903, saw electric cars being invented, then gas cars, survived the Great War, watched the moon landing, was a roadie for Hendrix, then watched this whole internet fad take off. And through it all, there has been one constant: the Stealers Suck.

I actually won one of the first contests on this site. (Back when it was Seahawks 98 . com)
Todd sent me a Brian Blades signed picture. It hung on my office wall for years and I still have it in my Seahawks box in the garage.

That was 27 friggan years ago. Damn, time does fly.

Back in Seattle.
Created in 1998. At the time I called it "Seahawks98.com", and the next year "Seahawks99.com" and quickly realized how silly that would be to constantly change domain names each year so did a little searching and lo and behold, "Seahawks.NET" was available! Snagged it instantly, much to the chagrin of the NFL, and the rest is history.
Did the NFL ever make an offer for it? Obv it wasn't an offer you couldn't refuse...

Won a few of them, my son now has the two Steve Largent Baseball cards I received, I think one is a rookie card.

Back in 2007-2009 I was doing my internship at the city of Hope in SoCal and would drive my happy ass 3 hours down to Oceanside to meet up with some other rowdy fellows (Largent where ya at?) off this board.

Always fun. The days of Peruvian marching powder being referred to as Dante Stallworth by various bar denizens will not be forgotten.
