Was attending the game so haven't watched any film yet but did anyone watching on tv catch or notice the issue with Trey McBride getting open so easily? While I love being at the game, makes it hard to pause and rewind and see what actually happened but he was certainly pesky today! However, there is no way that one cannot enjoy the amazing victory!

Appreciate it. We had amazing end zone seats (South) where almost all the action was for this game from both teams. And the dude just kept getting open again and again and again. Wasn't sure if he was doing anything specific that could be fixed. Cheers!

My analysis is just that McBride is a hell of a player and the vocal point of their offensive attack.

Honestly, he’s all they got.
Thats how Arizona was gonna beat us right?

Rams like their 12 and 13 personnel. Better be ready for it

We haven't been able to cover tight ends and backs for over a decade. Not sure why we never can fix that.

To be fair, McBride, like JSN, has been doing that to opposing teams all year — leaving opposing fans scratching their heads.

Nick has to be better with man coverage. Give him a year and I think he will be the main coverage man on TE. He gets best off the line to often.

Oh I totally agree with the cringe with the pose. I'll watch the all 22 later but was just curious if anybody noticed anything. Appreciate the responses.

Spoon and Emmanwori are both capable of covering TE across the middle depending on alignment. Macdonald saw the game. McVay saw the game. They'll both have a plan to address TE. It'll come down to execution.

BTW, Colby Parkinson scored for the Rams yesterday. Given the choice, I'd rather have Cooper Kupp giving inside information over Colby Parkinson.

It feels like the game is winnable. It's been a while since it's felt like "luck" isn't a major component in this game.

Their TEs aren't as good as McBride, but they do target them a lot:

Would feel better if Ernest Jones is playing on Sunday

No Aaron Donald to poop on our plate.

I know they have a very good D - but that guy was a dream crusher all on his own.

Once the Seahawks got the big lead, they played a soft zone, which will give tight ends an advantage. The Seahawks play a lot of zone anyway, which benefits TEs who can find the soft spots and exploit mismatches in size.

An article last week in Sharp Football said that the Seahawks play zone 81.4 percent of the time, which is one of the highest in the league. In contrast to teams like the Ravens, Lions and Broncos, who use more man coverage:

McBride and Brisket running for his life were the Cards entire offense and they really only scored when we gave them the ball, I wouldn't look too much into it but yeah I get it, it was frustrating to see him just constantly work the field.

And sometimes a player is just that good and you only hope to take him away with doubles or make sure that he is contained and the rest of the team doesn't win their battles. Guys like Christensen, Francis, Gronk, Kelce, Graham, Winslow in their prime could not be stopped. What I saw was a alot of mid in patterns completed not seam, our achilles heal before was the TE Seam route.

The guy next to me was yelling over and over about the same thing and he and you are right
That right side of the flat was always open so the lambs im sure noticed it too
I do believe we were playing a soft zone and it's something that can't happen next week or they will make us pay
Otherwise it was a complete dismantling of the little beaks
