Remember the absolute pant-pooping over the size of both of Russell Wilson's contract signings?
Last time and this time we get a year into his contract and we see just how stripped the QB market is. Tannehill's cap hits are only slightly lower the next couple of years, and Cousins is low this year, and barely under Wilson next year. And that 2022 cap hit? $45 million. They've got a $10 million dead cap hit for him that year, so really this is either a deal for this year and next year and then they have to cut or extend that last year.
And you know what you get for the slight increase in price? Russell Wilson.
