He's no Jeff Feagles but he's the best current punter in the league. Glad he'll be staying a Seahawk.

The last thing you want the team worrying about and looking for in a panic is your punter. Being set for the next few years is a good thing. (y)

I do so enjoy homerism, but if he was the "best punter in the league" he wouldn't be six years removed from his lone All Pro.

That's not necessarily true. Geno Smith was a pro bowler in both 2022 and 2023. You can't judge a player's worth completely by pro bowl voting.

Which is why I said All Pro. The difference between the two is quite wide.

To be all pro you just need to have a great year. You can fall apart after that. What Dickson does is be consistently one of the top punters year after year after year…
