I see ZERO problems with a guy that the Hawks drafted retiring as a Hawk as long as they actually were a team player.

I certainly understand a guy wanting to retire with the team that drafted him.
This particular dude didn’t leave any baggage or drama behind.

No I don’t see a problem with it either! I was just saying I find it a little unusual. If I’m being honest that was just my first thought. If someone told me Cassius march of all players had a one day contract to retire as a hawk my instinct would be “really?”

I get it.

My first thought was “we drafted him”, and that is why I’m good it.

I actually like the allegiance it shows.

It’s the reason my response to the RW question is, yes if he requests it.
No if we have to chase him down over it.

Yeah I like it though. You only have one legacy and it was important to him I guess. I like when players show love to us hill billys out here in the sticks

I think it fits with what js and mm are trying to build culture wise. You contribute, you are valued. Even beyond the players. We saw this when bobo got the game suspension for disrespecting a woman on the janitorial staff. Honoring bit role players this way helps with the culture.

I don't mind it, I do think he would have enjoyed more success if the current DLine or even the '13-'14 Dline were playing alongside him.
