Russ can't even come close to buying a real piece. If he gets to be anything, it would be basically a named position from someone with team-buying money.

Why anyone would think he has anything to offer in that capacity is beyond me. Which is why I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's not even the former Seahawk being referred to.
Rissell Wilson is the most presentable, well spoken, and ownership ready, right?9951

If it were just a named position, I'd like it to be Bobby Wagner.

If the new ownership group lets him in for even a token investment, he will
be considered one of the owners, imagine what happens after that because
these new owners will not be from the U.S.
This makes me feel like I'm about to go on some carnival ride that makes me
sick.

Remember my joke? Ok, I shall repeat:

John Schneider clapped him on the shoulder. "Glad to have you back, Russ."
Russell Wilson stepped back, a deadpan expression freezing his easy smile. "That works with the media, John. But around the facility? It's Mr. Wilson."

If Russ is one of the new owners, and has any influence in team decisions, I'd expect to lose Schneider within a year or two. Either he quits or Russ pushes him out.

I hope that's not the case.

Highly doubt Jody and JS would have not vetted that potential outcome if the stars did happen to align. Watch, it's some ex-Seahawk that made his fortune outside of the NFL....

Maybe it's Jerry Rice. Would make sense if he was connected our new owner.

That would be Russell Wilson, wouldn't it?

Bay Area connection...Marshawn. He famously never spent any if his nfl income, only endorsement money...that plumber must have paid well.
