They were going full speed at Wilson every play. No intention to pull up and avoid a hit. That's all coaching, IMO. Schiano just told them to go for it.

And of course the refs watched it closely...
a$$hole$.

I thought they were calling "roughing the passer" pretty regularly, actually.

So, so soooooo many late hits on Wilson. And they weren't even trying to knock the ball down; just straight up plowing him into the turf. I've no doubt Shit-ano told them to do it, too.

I thought there were some they could call, but I'd prefer they didn't generally. I thought, we got lucky with one third down near the end with a helmet to helmet on Glennon (As far as how refs like to call it). I just get irritated with flags in general. If your a step away going full speed I think you should be allowed to go through the tackle, and that's how they called it for the most part. Too hard to play otherwise.

And yeah the PI calls need to be fixed, it takes away from the game when calls are so ticky tack and don't affect the receiver. DB's got the same right to the ball as the WR.

Remember Glennon was a RB at the end. Not helmet to helmet only hit on the head but either way he was treated as a RB

The play that pissed me off was the kneel down. It looked like RW pulled something in that play

I thought they were targeting Wilson. All the hits seemed around the head and they didn't seem to ease up.
We'll see if any fines are handed out this week.

Their OL held like a SOB all day without it being called as well.
Yup. I can't believe they missed so many of those.

I'll have to agree there. That call was straight up bullshit.

Good point, I get scared whenever QB's get hit like that since ref's get so flag happy with them. That last one was total bull, complete lack of control by the refs.

Yeah, the PI calls today were really bad. But what do you expect from a Mike Carey crew?

You guys remembered when Jim Harbaugh complained to the NFL to clarify the hits on "running QBs" in the read option? I remember lots of people on this board and even Pete thought Jim Harbaugh was being "too protective of CK7". Well, this might come back to bite us.

Our biggest problem is that our Offensive line is very porous. If Brady was playing behind this offensive line, some of these linemen would have been released already. They are simply atrocious. St Louis showed how wreck havock in our backfield. 5, 6 guys and we don't know how to pick them up or we consistently get pushed back.

Furthermore, our offense completely lacks "imagination". Few screens, few draws, we don't move the pocket enough one way or the other. Russell can throw well moving right or moving left. Very little bootlegs . Our offense is almost too predictable.
We are 8-1, but we have been very poor on offense lately. Very poor.

That kneel down def pissed me off. I don't know what the ref's were waiting for, it was like they were intentionally trying to see if they could get away with not blowing the whistle in hopes it would only if the Bucs kept playing at full speed, and I believe everyone Hawks, and Bucs minus 1 bucs player stopped and stood up acknowledging Wilson took a knee, and the one Bucs player continued to tackle him and strip the ball. This game for had me pretty outraged.
