Looking back, DK reminds me of that guy in high school who fixes up a car but spends all the money where it doesn't count. Looks great, looks mean, appears to be badass, but there's nothing special under the hood. DK always looked the part, but when it came down to really showing what he could do, it was mostly show and little go.
Well constructed comment. Good job!

View attachment 74108He had no pure drops yesterday. There was one that was batted out, but not considered a drop. Go back and watch the game and you’ll see. Here is his stat sheet showing he has one drop this year and that came last week. Also, if you look at the number of targets he gets each year with the number of drops, I’ll take that ratio any day for a wide receiver.
Ok I won't believe my lying eyes.

I wonder how long it will be peaceful in the pitt
Until DK decides to run his own route or cut off a route one too many times and old man rogers jumps his shit about it.

Although I always held on to hope that he would evolve into a Megatron type player, I really can’t argue reasons to worry about him being gone.

I did fear that he would go to a division rival and tear our ass up twice a year, thankfully that didn’t happen.
Today he had a chance to show up and out, but thankfully that didn’t happen either.

Hopefully the “eff them” comment was about coach, management, ownership and not his teammates in Seattle.

I guess I miss the potential that I always saw, even though he never seemed to live up to it.

At the end of the day, we’re probably better off without him.

A good friend of mine is a stealer fan. We watched the game together. He was so excited to watch DK elevate for that TD. He, like pmedic mentioned above, is hoping for Megatron. I quickly informed him that he WILL see plays like that. But only maybe twice a year. He did not want to believe; but he will. OH, he will.

I think DK will make a play or two almost every game but he will make more mistakes than plays and his fans will always be left a little unsatisfied with his inability to play as big as he is and the only time they will really see him take advantage of his size is when he’s picking on a 190 pound DB

They dumped Pickens the minute they got DK. DK has issues, but he's nowhere near the headcase Pickens is. I think their implosion will far more likely stem from when Rodgers starts throwing people under the bus. He will. It's just a matter of time. It's his M.O.

No doubt. Erin is never at fault. Been his jam since day 1.

I'm not going to dump on the guy (too much) because he was a good player for us. But he's not an elite reciever, and never will be. He's not on the same level as Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb, but he wants to be paid like them.

On the broadcast yesterday, Mark Sanchez repeated a common misperception about DK. He said "Give that guy the ball anyway you can because he's a yards after the catch guy." Well, that's completely wrong. Last year, DK was something like 106th among receivers for YAC.

He might have speed and strength, but he has no wiggle and no ability to avoid tacklers or to even run through them.

The most disappointing thing about DK really was his antics that would lead to penalties. Everyone knows he is a physical talent, yes his hands and route running may have been slightly above average...or maybe even just average. But combine his skill with his physical talent and he's an elite player. The issue is the antics...it destroys a team's culture and costs you dearly in a game, big plays, field position etc. Just disappointing.

Sorry but he's nowhere near elite as far as talent.

Yeah , he's awesome. I wish Seattle would be done whatever it took to keep him in Seattle.

Pure class , talent , game changer.
