Why is it that Allen, and Mahones, and Brady (minus the Moss years) can succeed without a superstar WR burner in the outside, but the seahawks can't? Who's the DK on the niners offense? Pearsall? They didn't seem to have any problems moving the ball Sunday.
Why Because their coaches know how to scheme and design plays to get multiple positions open. Utilizing backs and TE's just as much as WRs in the passing game.
We don't need a DK, the coaches need to scheme, and design plays that put the weapons we do have in better situations to make plays.
Why cant the Seahawks run a damn screen play?
Why are our TEs not open down the seams?
I dont think this is a lack of a big burner problem, this is a scheming problem.
Having said all that it doesn't help that our other two recievers are a long in the tooth, often injured vet, and a rookie still learning the position. I was very suprised they moved on from MVS for that reason. They're going to need to step up no doubt.
