1) Everyone laughs at the bleacher report, I wouldn't use it to prove a point.
2) I strongly disagree. I don't think its fair to judge him due to the fact that he has been injured. Clearly he isn't a RT but I think at LG he will be good.

I will reserve judgement til after this season. Look at Golden Tate or even Okung.

Well, considering how hard the team is trying to get him healthy and make him a starter, they obviously see something in him. I think I'll go with Cable's opinion over a BR dweeb.

Carp will be a great LG if he can stay healthy.... The games he started last year he showed great improvement each and ever game, health is the key to Carp's success, not talent.

The guy points out stuff you cant ignore.

Hopefully Carp will stay healthy and start playing to his 1st round grade.

It takes time to develop players. Too many are looking for instant gratification. Yes there are some exceptions of rookies shinning right away but that is not the norm. Year 3 is usually when a player starts to excel if he has what it takes. I want to see what he does this year.

Just remember recent history, everybody saying Tate is a bust after his first couple of years. Hmmm year 3 he started to look pretty good.

Too many feel that it is necessary to criticize to sound like they know something

Carp when he is healthy is very good guard. Earlier this week Okung said as much as well. I will trust what he says and what I see on the field over Bleacher Report

I expected that article to be a load of shit - in reality there's some decent analysis in there, PFF says that he's been pretty poor as a blocker which surprised me, and the breakdown of a couple of plays in the Miami game is on point and fair.

I have tremendous faith in Carpenter, but in reality it looks as if he HAS been a poor blocker in the past. Whether or not he turns it around is another point, but that's the question the article is asking

We should collectively stop linking Bleacher Report articles.

Wasn't he hurt most or all of last year? Who knows how good he can be, it would be nice to see him healthy. Wasn't everyone down on Okung before he stayed healthy? I know his was to a lesser extent, but give the guy some time, maybe Carp will show up and be a stud.

Look, just about anyone can pick out 3-4 plays out of the HUNDREDS an O-Lineman plays and can show how he's beat on those plays. Sorry, it happens. I bet this guy could probably find similar 'evidence' on Walter Jones.

He also picked probably the worst game of the season for everyone not named Russell Wilson, I recall the Oline getting punked that whole game in Miami, Lynch couldn't do a damn thing.

I haven't seen enough from carp to expect him to be a beast , If he plays that's cool but I don't see a drop off with McQuiston

No doubting that... I thought the PFF evidence was a bit more telling though
