I'm still feeling the letdown of 2019, when we set various offensive records over the first 45 games of the season. Then the remaining 117 games happened.Does anybody really think our bats will come alive in some sort of consistent and infectious manner? I was actually holding onto the hope it would when we pulled ahead of the pack in May and into June. But it just hasn't come. Maybe it will. Who knows? But boy it doesn't look like it now.
We went a long time with just the Mets and Sonics championships. I don't think we're that demanding. Look at what an achievement the Mariners pulled off this Independence Day—Se7en Freaking Runs!!!Just sell the team. Seattle demands winners, so if there is 0 commitment from the owners, then we need new ones.
Meaningless loss? We won the gameSadly, this is a meaningless loss. I just can't see Houston NOT winning the division. Who knows, maybe they'll prove us wrong
This is one of the biggest days of the year for drinking. He probably is flashing back to games 1 and 2.Meaningless loss? We won the game
LOL......yep. I need to fix thatThis is one of the biggest days of the year for drinking. He probably is flashing back to games 1 and 2.
Well first off I’m not holding my breath that we are suddenly going to improve all the cold bats on our team just with better coaching or prep or whatever.. but besides that trying to improve the batters we have and trying to upgrade our roster aren’t mutually exclusive..Everyone is talking about getting another bat. Why not fix the problem with the bats the Mariners already have?
Yesterday the team was rallying around J-Rods HR. If that's the cure then lets address J-Rods bat. https://www.si.com/mlb/mariners/new...seattle-mariners-julio-rodriguez-01j1wxdpsv86
