8-12 under Carroll (1-6) the first year so, not so bad since then. Not sure how many of those are 10 am starts, I know one game was at Denver, there was a playoff game in Chicago that was probably a later start so not sure about the game start times.

Thought it would be worse.

I think that there should be a rule that any pacific time zone team playing on the east coast should have a 4:15pm EST game. It's already an unfair advantage to fly 2000+ miles, why do they have to play the game at 10 am local time? That is east coast bias, if I have ever seen it.

It's to give every advantage they can possibly think of for their East coast teams.
I think it's chicken shit and deceptive on the part of those who work up the scheduling, of course IF they like, or have a bias for a West Coast team, they will sometimes make some adjustments to even things out for them eh (49rs?)

I think night games on the west is probably harder. Some last until close to midnight east coast time

Harder for the fans to watch, not for the players to play. It's all about the ratings.

you can find all kinds of information supporting both east coast advantage in the 10 a.m. pst start time but also a west coast advantage for Sunday/Monday night games. I remember at one time in the 90's it was 60 something percent for the team closest west in a night game.

I think it would be easiest to just swap the central and eastern time zone states with Canada and Mexico for some of their land in B.C., Alberta, Baja California, and parts of Mexico, and relocate all the central/east teams in those newly acquired territories to the north and south. Then we'd all be in the same time zone and not have to worry about 10 a.m. starts anymore!
