I feel like the hawks perform like a volatile stock. Fans, being as emotional as we are, have a tough time evaluating the team effectively.

In trading/investing we are taught to be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy. That's the Warren Buffett quote anyway.

Everytime this team has a bad game we sell at a loss. When we look good we buy hard, and with all our liquid cash (emotion) only for value to plummet fast. It's frustrating as hell, but I want to have more of an investor/coach/scout perspective versus rabid fan with face paint type emotions.

This is me being greedy when others are fearful:
I think we can pressure Sam.

27-17 Vikes. One defensive TD, one offensive TD and a field goal. Two picks for Geno.

I felt bad even typing this - but....DAMN.....this team is killing me.

I REALLY HOPE I AM WRONG.

Yeah. Cant see Mike and the team laying an egg again. The guy makes mistakes but seems quick to learn from them.

Last week was a wakeup call.

This week - wide awake.

31 - 30 Hawks
I've rewatched the game and it was only bad during the first quarter, especially the first few GB drives. That's what won them the game. We shut them down in the second half. You're right, I don't see them laying an egg agin. The Hawks are so much better than what was on the field Sunday night. I know that, you know that.

Sam Darnold has feasted on poor defenses all year and can be exposed. His offense runs through the pass, which is how our defense likes to play. Believe me, I know - I've got Aaron Jones on my fantasy team. Gah.

I've also got their defense. For being the #2 defense in the league in fantasy, they've also played some terrible opponents. But they can give up their share of yardage if they're confronted with solid receivers, and if the OC can play a good game and get the ball out quickly. Grubb and Geno need to play the kind of game they had the two weeks prior to the Packers.

I think this is winnable, but Tariq Woolen probably blows it for us again.

I’m projecting a win because the season might be over unless we get some help from other teams if we lose. Everything to play for

Sure hope Geno is 100% recovered from that injury last week, because a somewhat hobbled QB behind our god awful OLine is a pretty scary thought.
