What a rare treat to watch a Seahawks game without elevated blood pressure and the usual neuroticisms. A complete bitch slap for 3 hours. Now it’s time to turn and burn on a short week as another divisional matchup looms in just over 2 days.

The Seahawks are flying high while the Cardinals look, well kinda like the Cardinals. Historically, we tend to own them in their house. Their RB is out and I just don’t see anything of substance that really scares me all that much.

If the Seahawks play solid football, they come home 3-1 and feeling pretty good about themselves moving forward. I always respect any divisional game but assuming they execute a solid game plan, life is good for Seahawks fans this week.

I like our chances.

Gannon and Murray looks like hell at post 49ers presser. Lotsa "We gotta get better at XXX", "We have to be more efficient", "Gotta do better".

We do own them in their house - bitches :) :

"Seattle has won the last seven meetings and eight of the last nine dating back to the 2020 season, and is 10-1-1 at State Farm Stadium since 2013."

Just hope Ouzts can roll and that K9 follows him more and stops scatting behind the FB.

AND THAT WE DON'T LOSE ANYONE ON THAT DAMN TURF!

I'm gonna hang it out there in the afterglow and call it for us 31-10. So nice to have an afterglow this week :)

28-10, Cardinals are not going to do $#!+ against this defense. I think the offense has another solid outing spreading the ball around to the WRs ala last week. AZ will be off-balance all game long.

It doesn't seem like we should be 1.5 underdogs. But I'm sure the Thursday night factor is baked into the line. In other words, you don't really get the true version of teams with these Thursday night games. They aren't good measuring sticks.

I was thinking that 1.5 underdogs was just 'wrong' too -

I’ve been wrong two games in a row!

The Seahawks are flying high heading into the desert this Thursday Night. How exciting! This young team with so much intrigue heading into the spaceship in the desert in a prime time showdown!!

Unfortunately, the Seahawks come crashing down back to Earth in this house of horrors that have haunted Seahawks teams of past.

Sam Darnold looks lost throughout most of the game, and the O line just can’t get anything going. Penalties play a large part, no doubt, with several questionable calls killing our drives and extending the Cardinals’.

Friday morning meltdown has many wondering: Was the fix in? Did the NFL want desperately to keep the Cardinals relevant, to keep Marvin Harrison Jr away from the “bust” realm?

Nobody knows. All we do know is that the Seahawks leave Arizona with a frustrating loss and sit at .500.

Cardinals and Refs: 24

It's lucky that the Seahawks had a laugher the game before the Thursday night game. They were able to give starters some rest. The Cardinals, on the other hand, played a pretty tough game that went down to the wire.

Seahawks 20, Cardinals 16

Record: 2-0 (missed the first game)

I agree with bileever...we have a few rested starters plus coming off hell of a win which I think both MacDonald and the players will want to build upon to show we are the real deal. Arizona didn't put up the fight I was expecting vs SF, but I think they may be a bit more dangerous against us..with that said...we pound them on Thursday! Last week was special teams..this week offense gels and takes off for a Seahawks win!

Seahawks 42

Cardinals 21

Hawknight record to date: 2-1

I think we're going to win this game, but I don't have a real good guess as to who or what are going to be the deciding factors in retrospect.

Beatdown in the desert! Cardinals are hooped with their run game gone. Nothing but tumbleweeds and incomplete passes from Kyler. Defence shines again with only points coming in garbage hour time.

31-10 Hawks

Season 2-1

Yeah it’s a weird place. On one hand it was the most horrific end to a Super Bowl any fanbase should ever have to endure, a place like mentioned above where we lost two of our legendary LOB players for good, yet…

Yet…

During the regular season it’s like a home away from home game for the Seahawks. Year after year.

I’m counting on the latter this Thursday.
