A day early but I am feeling myself.

Lions are a fun team to root for. When they are not directly impacting my Seahawks, I root for them. Win or lose, I like them and ultimately hope one day - like the Browns - they win it all.

Scrappy, an image of their rough and tough coach who I also admire.

Having said that, we seem to have their number for some odd reason. These tend to be shoot outs. Nobody knows if that will be the case next Monday. I do know that Geno and company have no fear of this team nor should you.

Still, I have a nagging feeling this is our first L. Not because we are not as good as them. I just think we are due.

However…..

EDIT: As of 9/27 I have changed my prediction pick for the SECOND time back to Seahawks 23 - Lions 24.

I pray I am mistaken.

I had this as our only loss up to our bye week. Lions are fun to watch but they aren't playing as well as I expected them to be. This new defense is COMPLETELY different than the last 2 years when we played them. Goff isn't a scrambler so our D-line will get to him. They're running the ball pretty good as well as stopping the run. Their secondary isn't great so I expect Geno to light them up. We just have to stop the run like we did against the fins and we'll be fine. Macdonald's defense obliterated these guys last year. I see the Hawks doing the same thing.

Hawks - 31
Lions - 6

It’ll be our first real test. And it’s MNF! We are pretty good on MNF. It’ll be close I think.

28-23 Hawks

Shut Amon Ra down - the Lions go as he does.

Here and there
We have stood our ground with the Lions and have a winning streak. Even though we have new coaching on hand, I think we can handle the Lions come Monday. I say we continue that winning streak and add another in the win column Monday night. We have our injuries, but the Lions have their fair share as well.

Seahawk 31

Lions 21

We wreck their day come Monday....Go Hawks!!!!

Hawknight 3 - 0.....let's make it 4-0

Winnable game! But playing in their house and I give them the edge.

Record to date 3-0
