Are the eagles actually good?

Will they be a team to fear come playoff time? I just can't get a good feel on them

They are blowing away everyone with their speed.

Thankfully we have one of, if not THE fastest Defenses in the NFL.

They have absolutely no defense and given we have Harvin now I no longer dread getting into a track meet style high scoring game with anyone if that's what's needed to win.

I think they're good, on offense they are absolutely awesome. Defensively I think they are slowly getting better but come playoff time I don't see them beating Panthers, Seahawks, or Saints.

They aren't great, but they are dangerous. They are #1 in explosive plays by a wide margin, and Foles has become a bit of a "Favrian" playmaker in tough situations. Though their team is very different, from a distance they remind me of the 2008/2009 Cardinals. Explosive offense, bad defense. Mediore in the regular season, but nearly won it all the first year and knocked out Aaron Rodgers the next year. Seattle has given up big plays this season. Though I think we'd win, I'd rather avoid them if possible.

Eagles? Well, I'm kinda excited because I'm going to the Eagles v Lions game on my birthday weekend. Can't wait to see it, I'm going to root for the home town boys.

There's the Saints, Seahawks, Niners, and Panthers as actually decent teams. You might even be able to make an argument for the Cards.

Then there's the rest of the conference. The Eagles, Cowpukes, Giants, Packers, Lions, and Bears who are barely average to above average ever so slight.

No, they really aren't. Nick Foles has his moments, but overall it's a mediocre team in a division worse than NFC west 2010.
