I didn’t get a chance to waych it but I did see a play early in the first qtr and noticed Brees behind center. My wife told ne that Russ gave the start to Brees in a gesture of respect.

Russ was also the guy leading in the locker room when the Kobe announcement came through and led the prayer for him.
