There are several non-random items that will pull you but they are not related to how you look. They are if you buy the ticket in cash, if you buy a one-way, if you bought it within 2 days. At least this is true as of a few years ago. Then on top of that they just pull people plus they do non-randomly pull people

So there is an element of both

Well you guys do know that Gabbert has a 120 passer rating in the second half of first quarters when trailing on the road in November....

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but if I'm York / Baalke, I'm on the phone with 31 teams by tomorrow. The Niners have no choice, it will be a PR nightmare if they don't make a stand. Someone out there will take a chance on Smith. He is just too good and reports suggest he's a reasonably nice guy...just "incredibly dumb".

It will NEVER happen and the Niners would NEVER allow it to happen, but if Aldon was willing to cut his pay in half (and he may have to) I'd offer SF our 2nd for him. Again, I know this won't happen but imagine having Smith coming off the edge for us. 14 PPG would probably see us go *undefeated.

*except, perhaps a couple of the 8 games Goodell will likely be handing down to Aldon Smith IF he was in fact inebriated. If he was not drunk or high, I don't see this as a huge deal and anything more than 1 game would be excessive, IMO, and I doubt he gets (significant) jail time. If I were the judge, for his own benefit I would give him 1 year and would defer all but 10 days. I would also give him a 3 year probation with random tests for drugs and alcohol. If he pisses dirty even once, he serves that year in county.
