That home run by Cal will forever be known as the Moon Shot. I have never seen a HR hit that high. It just kept going up and out. Insane Power!
It's really strange how the players' union in baseball is so much stronger than the players' union in the NFL. The salary CAP has been a non-starter when it comes to collective bargaining between the baseball players' union and ownership. I'm all for unions, but in this case it works against the good of the game and the fan experience, and actually creates more of a division between the haves and the have nots.Add the fact that the dodgers biggest contract has deferred payments for ten years.
I know. Right when it left the bat I thought to myself...damn, he got under it too much. But then it just kept going. That home run by Cal will forever be known as the Moon Shot. I have never seen a HR hit that high. It just kept going up and out. Insane Power!
That 8th inning could go down as a HISTORIC moment in team history.I still can't believe that Geno hit two long balls, drove in five of our six runs, and put an exclamation point on the game with his grand salami in the bottom of the eighth. Can you imagine Niehaus making that call? LOL But can never forget Cal breaking that agonizing six inning run drought with his mile high dinger in the eighth. I know the votes have already been cast, but if that wasn't an MVP moment, then such things don't exist.

Exactly what I thought. If HR ball altitude is also recorded by the stat keepers in addition to angle/speed/distance, I wonder how it compares with the highest ever hit at Safeco/T-Mobile.I know. Goosebumps. This really happened last night!
Hell of a battle. All I hear is how UW can't compete in the Big 10. They played Ohio State tough and are tied at the big house today, mid 3rd quarter. You forgot one.
Dubs up vs Michigan.
We old, man.5 and 5 son
Hawks need to win those overtime shoot outs. Gotta score more goals, and they HAVE to get more Power Play goals. Mariners are taking the rider cup.Explain please. I'm too old and feeble to understand what's going on here, but if the Mariners are going to win the World Cup they're going to need to do a better job of making their free throws from inside the red zone.
