29 hits the last 2 games for BJ’s and we’re supposed to
Have the pitching.

Sherzer didn’t have to throw strikes because we swung
At at all his balls.

The pitching is overrated and it's been injured all year

Haven't even seen this kinda response here with niner fans...

That guy (goldfinger, formerly known as TIMD before he got banned) only ever posts to bash the M's and M's fans. It's literally all he does. It's a long season and that dude is relentless. It gets old and people get tired of it, so yeah, some people push back from time to time. If you think that makes people "soft", fine, but I'd disagree.

Copy that. No reference to you or your fellow mainers fans but some are enraged by a Jays fans presence here...and then when the score isn't going their way the unity of the Ms fans imploded.

Just go through his post history. I think he maybe posted a couple times for the entire Detroit series, didn’t hear from him at all from the games in Toronto, and now he’s posting a ton now that we are losing. The guy wants to see this team fail, it’s pretty obvious.

You should check out the gameday chat forum during a Seahawks game if you think this is bad. That place is a toxic cesspool when things aren't going our way.

Also, no offense, but you seem kinda new to die hard sports fandom. M's fans and Seahawks fans are really far from unique in regards to getting pissy when the team is losing.

And rub it in the faces of M's fans when they do.

I just don't get emotionaly invested in sports entertainment. I dont know what your definition of a die hards sports fan is based on what I've said. Was a die hards canucks fans having watched them lose in gm7 of the cup final twice before I stopped watching hockey due to absurd rule changes. Watched the seahawks get cheated out of a super bowl ...win one...lose one because of an agenda for 1 player... yep lots of range of emotions. Now I just see it for what it actually is...entertainment.

People getting butt hurt on an internet forum then ignoring like a kindergartner over opposing views is childish...if you guys win the next 2 or win the series id expect some bashing my way. But Jesus the level of people easily offended here is astonishing. Society in a nutshell I guess....

Whatever criticism you have of the Mariners, ownership, front office, coaching staff, roster construction, however legitimate such criticisms may be, if at the beginning of the season you as an M's fan were offered the division title, a top two playoff seed, a divisional round victory, and a 2-2 tie in the ALCS series, any reasonable M's fan would have taken that in a heartbeat over the otherwise unknown.

I fully admit I was checking the score every so often while watching a surprisingly entertaining Bengals Steelers matchup. Another game it appears I saved myself some grief. M’s have that weird mojo of losing at home while winning on the road like the Seahawks.

Good for you, but you know damn well that many fans do.

Nobody's ignoring you over "opposing views". You're being intentionally disingenuous. You came in here making comments about Seattle sports fans being sellouts knowing full well that would push people's buttons and then pretending to be surprised when it pushed people's buttons. You intentionally said something you knew would offend people just so you could act like people were being overly sensitive if they were offended. Now you're acting like a victim who did nothing wrong and can't understand why anyone would have an issue with anything you said. What you're doing isn't original or clever, it's very obvious and transparent. You're trolling.

It's a 3 game series now. We knew the Bluejays were tough. They brought in some former Cy Young winners. All hands on deck. We gotta throw everything at them. I don't feel like they Beat us last two games; we did. All starters better be ready to relieve.

I was watching the Battle of the Old Farts at the same time. It proved to me you need more than a qb to win. Congrats to the Bengals.

We need playoff experience
We are getting it. Have to be back on a regular basis. Improve the bullpen

Let's win in six or seven

Exactly.

This is a forum for a Seattle sports team that has subforums for other Seattle sports teams (and a drunken Pullman nephew) so folks shouldn’t get surprised when there’s push back on trash talking Seattle sports teams here. Seems like common sense.

With that said, two straight games of atrocious play. I’m not sure what to expect in game 5. More of the same likely or maybe we’ll see some shaking up of the lineup. Naylor should be leading off, Randy should be moved far down as he’s basically been an automatic out most of the post season. Canzone has been out fodder all postseason, etc. so even if we get a great start today from Miller I’m not confident the offense can do anything at all.

Why these two teams always win against each other on the road is beyond me. Today’s a must win game though. Let’s see what effort we get.
