I'm not sure if this article has been posted or not, but here's some info on Bryan Woo:

"All reports have been good, as we had expected, and (he) continues to make his progression,” Wilson said. “Obviously, the live (at-bats Monday) was a big step for him. He felt pretty good yesterday. I think he’s going to get out and throw a little bit today. Getting him back, one of the guys that has really led this staff this year, obviously, will be huge for us, whatever that looks like as we get into the later part of this series. But getting him back and getting him healthy is the key.”

Woo has recently hit a couple of important benchmarks as he works his way back from the pec injury. He threw a bullpen session prior to Seattle’s ALDS Game 5 win Friday, and Monday he tossed a live batting practice to Mariners hitters before Game 2 of the ALCS in Toronto.

“The live went great. I think just slowly trying to build over the last couple weeks, like I said, do it the right way,” Woo said Tuesday. “Obviously, frustrating not being out there, but everything looks good, feels good so far. I’ll be ready to go whenever my name gets called.”

Seattle Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo was expected to be ready at some point in the ALCS, but exactly when remains unclear.

Interesting correlation that Woo threw live BP to our hitters before game 2 and they went off to have their best offensive output in the post-season.

Scherzer is 40 years old, and isn't the pitcher he once was. ERA of 5.19 this year and a WHIP of 1.29. His last start was on September 24th. Over his last 6 starts, he had an ERA of 9.00. He was left off the ALDS roster, but apparently the Blue Jays feel that the rest has revived him. We'll see.

I hope that the Mariners haven't read about those odds.

But it does bring up an interesting question. How does the fact that the odds so heavily favor us affect our strategy for the rest of the series? I already mentioned one change that I think we should consider. If we win Game 3, then start Woo in Game 4 and put him on a pitch count.

I hope Dan's message today is: All the Jays need to do starting today is win four games to advance. In other words, don't take nothing for granted. But I have no doubt the players will continue to be hard-core locked-in with every intention of going for the jugular so the series needn't return to Toronto.

It's looking like Bryan Woo will be scheduled to start in Game 5 (if necessary):

“It felt good to get back out and be on the mound again,” Woo said. “All positives.”
If Woo bounces back positively from the live BP, the Mariners will turn to him in ALCS Game 5 on Friday, sources with knowledge of the club’s plans told MLB.com. But he’d be on an abbreviated pitch count, likely around 50.
