I don't know what Naylor's batting average is right now exactly, but in the category of endearing himself to Seattle fans, it's freaking one thousand!

He's an unrestricted free agent (when the season is over). Even if they've tried to sign him to an extension, he probably wants to test the waters and see what kind of offers he gets.

I hope the mariners treat this seriously, this guy is exactly what we need and he should not be going anywhere for the next 5-7 years

all they can really do now is tell him they want him here and maybe have a verbal agreement

John Olerud and Tino Martinez and that's about the list. Its been awhile.
France was good.. White was probably the best ever 1b defender, to bad he couldn't hit.
