I think the league has figured out how to get to Wilson.. the O line isn't playing consistently good right now especially on the right side, the giants exposed that and took advantage of that... it was a good defensive game plan executed very well

The Hawks really need to get back to the successful run game especially early on...that will fix a lot of it...

They need to get back to a quick passing game and changing the tempo. That's what was working in games 1-5. Then we stopped and only do it now when we really need to.

Without question. And apparently everybody BUT Pete and company are know this. Just damn embarrassing.

I'm not embarrassed of this game... Just got to give credit where credit is due doesn't mean this team sucks... it means that they have to get back to the run game and change things up a bit...

if you would have polled everybody of this board and asked them if the Hawks lose will it be because of the O not scoring points or the D giving up to many points i'm quite sure people would have said it would be the D giving up to many points...

the D played well with the exception of those two big runs the d was solid...

I starting to wonder if they know how to adjust have you ever seen them do that? They seem to stick to the same game plan no matter if they're winning or losing. What gets me is they'll win against a good team and drop an egg on the bad teams like they don't practice all week for the bad teams.

I really didn't see the run game working either if it had I'm sure they would of been running the ball a whole lot more.

I think Carson is still hurt Carroll mentioned that he is on a snap count and they don't want to run him 25-30 times a game...

I don't think The giants are a bad team just because they are 4-7 doesn't mean they are not playing well now... They are playing well.. what I saw today was a well coached disciplined giants team that exposed and took advantage of the hawks run D... the Hawks adjusted to the run game all but two drives in the 3rd... which amounted to a handful of plays so Im not sure I understand what your talking about not adjusting...

Well in this case I definitely wasn't talking about the D I thought they did an outstanding job. I was referring to The Offense take what the D will give you dropping back looking for that big play was not working 3-4 yd passes bring in more linemen I'm not a coach but they do this for a living you can't tell me the Giants don't have any weakness.

Giants 4-7 your record is who you are, It say to me 7 other teams found a way to beat you better be looking at those games just saying.

The only way the Hawks lose that game today is if the O tanked,,,,,,,and it did. If there was one game this season that the fanbase wasnt expecting the porous D to hurt them in, it was this game with the Colt McCoy led Giants.

The problem with this coaching staff is they are horrible and slow at making in game adjustments.
They only come armed with plan A, there is no plan B.
If plan A doesn’t work, they are screwed.

I know some will disagree with this, but the coaching staff is the weak link on this team, especially on game day.
The game has passed Pete and company by IMHO. “Pete Ball” only gets you into the playoffs because of the talent on the roster, good enough to win a game and then get trounced in the second playoff game. The league has caught up to Pete.

I like Pete as a person and will always be grateful for the Lombardi trophy in the trophy case that he is largely responsible for, but IMHO extending him was a mistake.

And plan A is typically vanilla and generic.
