I have not been following injury reports Or anything other than watching the game. My wife told me Unchena was coming back that's how involved I've been.
That said, I was not surprised that Detroit beat them. What did surprise me was how the Hawks O hung in there. That impressed me. Defensively they couldn't compete because of injuries IMO.
I think this team has a lot of pride. I think this is an important game in the sense to see how they bounce back after a loss. They have a nice veteran presence but what I'm looking for is how MAC delt with the loss and how hungry this team is this week.
I'm not sure what the injury situation is. I think it is better than last week, but if they are smart they would hold anybody back who is not fully healed because of the Niners next week. The Hawks will need all hands on deck, next week is the most important game of the season as of this point.
The Hawks need to make a statement this week they need to prove that they can bounce back with a vengeance to build confidence. I think they will beat the Giants... the question is how convincingly?
