Would you rather us lost how we just did in the superbowl.....

or

Not even make it to the SB, and just lost to Green Bay at home.

As awesome as it is to make it to the SB....i kind of wish we would have lost to GB to avoid this feeling.

C.) Have an offensive coordinator not be clinically brain-dead and run the ball on the 1 yard line to win the Super Bowl.

i would rather lose how the team lost today. Doesn't matter when you lose, unless you win it all the season is going to end in a bad light. Imagine how the Buffalo Bills fans felt, making it to 4 straight Superbowls. At least the Seahawks have one in the trophy case.

These guys had a chance to set themselves apart from other single championship teams, like Tampa, Chicago (Superbowl era), Saints etc. They let it slip from their grasp but they had a chance. That's all you can ask for.

Is rather lose like we did yesterday.
It will surely put a chip on the current players shoulder this coming year. Now they won't have that bullseye so to say this year. And oh boy they will be hungry this coming season

I would have rather lost by 20 and felt like we got beat and didn't beat ourself in the last seconds... This is going to sting for quite a while knowing what could have been...

So you're asking would I rather eat a cat turd or a dog turd, cause both are still turds.

I'd rather get blown out in the SB than lose like we did yesterday, cause I can live with another team just being better, but it's hard to live with 2nd and goal from the 1 and losing on a terrible play.

If they stuffed Beast Mode 3 times in a row on a goal line stand then I would believe the Pats would have earned that victory. Then it wouldn't be such a bitter loss, IMHO.

I am glad that the Hawks went back even if they didn't win it.

This season had a lot of turmoil to overcome and gave us a fantastic amount of success when most teams fail the following year.

I am already over it and am looking forward to next year. Especially the use of Chris Matthews. Getting healthy will be huge.

The potential development of Matthews, Willson and the draft prospects is awesome. The Hawks have a great chance at getting back again and the window is totally open.

This team is tough and young. They are going to get better on both sides of the ball.

Are you kidding me? We were in the most watched Super Bowl EVER, and they are saying it ranks up there with the most thriiling nail-bighting Super Bowls ever as well. It will be talked about for years. Why would we pass that up for soon forgotten NFC title game?

That win in the NFCCCG is still an amazing memory for Hawks fans. With some time, we will come to appreciate that moment on its own merit. I'd take a loss like yesterday over not having that NFCCCG experience.

But, of course - I wish we would have went down firing with our strength. If the Pats stop our run game repeatedly on the goal line, then I tip my cap to them, and move on. Hard to take that SB ending, but still love the NFCCCG comeback.

This. And believe it or not it will help our fanbase grow nationally because the Seahawks didn't lie down they competed to the last play (despite Bevell). People with no dog in the hunt will remember that and in a good way.

I would rather lose by 30 than lose this way. At least then I could say, "Yep. The guys just got their asses whipped."

I'm 'OK' with how it worked out. As for losing the NFCCG? Screw that. The problem with sports is you can't pick when you win or lose.

No way would I ever wish we didn't make the Super Bowl. There is only one winner each year I would much rather be #2 than #3 or #4.
